  • Summary: Fits intel 2500k 1155 socket. Comes with tube of thermal paste.
  • Pros: Quiet but powerful. Secure mounting. EZ install on Asus p8p67-m micro board in silverstone tj08 micro atx case on a intel 2500k.
  • Cons: None. I like to see where my pennies are going when I buy a cooler and the bright copper looks cool.

zalman cnps 9300at cpu cooler

Derrick G., Newegg
29 March 2011
  • Summary: may not fit in compact set-ups but it fits well in nzxt gamma case
  • Pros: surprisingly versatile since its shape is oblong and big i didnt think it would fit right but it does with no ubstruction the people at zalman are doing something right another great product i have it installed on a asus k8v x w 754 newcastle amd 64
  • Cons: its easy to turn while seated so the shiny copper surface got scratched so its recommended to put the mounts between the tubes with the smallest gap so it wont be able to swivel on top of the cpu so easily but not worth a lost egg

Zalman 9300 Heatsink Rocks

Ryan C., Newegg
9 November 2010
  • Summary: Get this fan + heat sink. Well worth the price. Great improvement over stock AMD fan.
  • Pros: The heat sink was small enough to fit into my midtower perfectly. I was using a stock heat sink for an AMD x2 6400+ 125 watt CPU and that was idling around 41 degrees C. With the newly installed Zalman heat sink + Arctic Silver 5 my temps dropped to 30 degrees C at idle. 11 degree drop! Impressiv...
  • Cons: People said it was loud? I have it running max rpm and its about as loud as the stock fan.

Cool little HSF

NATHAN D., Newegg

  • Summary: This isn't a 120mm tower cooler, so don't expect similar performance. I wound up not using the silly fanmate, instead using PWM and my motherboard. As to claims of "loud as an airport" my only responce is "NUH UH!" Perhaps that customer's model was defective?
  • Pros: Idle temps of 40-37-37-37 C with an ambient temp of 32 after hours of Prime95 load tems stay under ~65C using Arctic Silver 5 on my Q8400 overclocked at 3.2GHz (stock voltage/1600MHz FSB) On top of that it looks sharp too!
  • Cons: Little play in the clip and installation was not as appearant as I'd like. (tried to use the AMD clip the first time, lol) Universal AMD/Intel bracket conflicted with my motherboard heatsinks (an ASUS P5E Deluxe)...had to take a dremmel and the wire clippers to get clearance, but it did fit event...

  • Summary: Zalman cpper CPU coolers are the way to go. This one exhausts through the case outlet fan, depending on your case you may need to alter your wind tunnel
  • Pros: Lots of COPPER
  • Cons: vague instructions

Fantastic Cooler.

Paul K., Newegg
25 March 2010
  • Summary: No over-clocking here, I wanted a gaming computer without stability issues and that would slice through games with ease at a reasonable cost. I am building three gaming computers, one for my son, wife and my self, all with this Cooler.
  • Pros: With the fan installed, after playing Crysis on high settings for 30 min the temp was 52c, after removing the fan the temp went up 2c. After lapping the cooler the temp was only 47c (w/fan removed).
  • Cons: You’re kidding, it’s a Zalman.

Awesome!

Luiz D., Newegg
3 February 2010
  • Summary: It really keeps my computer cool, the only downside (if you are really picky) is that it makes a bit of noise, but other then that, it works great!
  • Pros: Works great, keeps the computer cool, cheapcheapcheap.
  • Cons: Noisy
