Summary: Used this in an HTPC build (years ago). It was very quiet and kept the CPU nice and cool, and beat everything else in it's price range. Zalman rocks!
Summary: The Zalman fan, installed on an AMD socket 939 board, to replace a poorly fitting fan, dropped the routine CPU operating temperature from 46 C. to 34 C.
Summary: great fan, sad to see it will not work for a socket 940, mounting plate and mount have 2 holes on each side, instructions say to pull motherboard and remove stock mount
Summary: Great fan. It is rather large though. Almost didn't fit in my system. I like the speed control. Personally I wouldn't have to use it, but good to know it is there.

Summary: With the included fan speed control I turned down the speed slightly and it is "silent"!!! I love it. It's big and fairly heavy but, it works and cools great!
Summary: I'm very disappointed with the Zalman CNPS7000B. It says no where on the product description that this cooler needs to have specific mounting holes or tabs on the mother...
