Summary: I got this for a Gigabyte AMD FM2+ A68H Motherboard... naturally this is made for intel board... I did stretch the mouting brackets out a bit further than they were "supposed" to be and it fit right on. works great, love it.
Installed in five minutes for my AMD CPU. Not too big, not too small. Just right for my PC, it works great, and it's quiet!

Summary: After reading many reviews and all the different kinds of cpu cooler fans out there, I decided to choose this Zalman CPU cooler for my AMD FX8320E/AM3+ based PC. The size seemed right to fit into my PC case and the price was very affordable.
Summary: This Zalman CPU Cooler works great with my i5 4570. My cpu idle temp are around 38c while my room is 28.7 c. While gaming i never see temp go over 70c they usually go from 50c to 65c depends which game I play ( Arma 3, Battlefield 3-4, far cry 4, Insurgency, and many others).
Summary: This was an excellent upgrade from the stock AMD CPU cooler. This is super easy to install -- no need to remove your motherboard. My computer is pretty much silent now thanks to this and a Samsung SSD. I installed this on a FM2 socket AMD A10-5800K APU and it works perfect.
Summary: I purchased a used AMD Phenom 965 - cpu only. This presented an opportunity to upgrade over a stock fan/heatsink. I started a broad search looking for a reliable brand. After eliminating any fan needing a plate on the back of the motherboard (I don't overclock), Zalman and Coolermaster stood out.

Summary: Five stars should be saved for items like this. For a mere $20 I was able to cool and quite my home-built rig. Prior to installing this, whenever I fired up a game, it sounded like my desk was going to take off.
Summary: Super quiet. I configured the target speed at the lowest setting in the BIOS, and the target CPU temp at 55 Celsius. It keeps my CPU at 55 degrees under load (Prime95), down from an average of 65 (I previously had an older cooler, the Thermaltake SilentBoost). CPU is AMD 760k overclocked to 4.2 GHz.
Summary: Keep your room clean, put filters on the fans slots to because this fan will grab any dust around and that may be why some people say their fans is failing after a few months of use, or it wasn't properly scr*wed in place and fell down...
Pros: Works better than expected, look bigger than I expected but fit to the millimeter on a MSI 970 Gaming and Corsair Carbide SPEC-01 Case. Cooling a FX-6300 slightly OC'd and it never go higher than 40C
