Cons: 1. I bought this to cool an older AMD 965 for my son, and I won't cool much better than the stock cooler. The mounting surface is rough and unfinished, with gaps between the aluminium block and the heat pipes. I've tried applying this unit repeatedly with different meathods of heat compound, and ...
Summary: The plate doesn't cover the entirety of the processor, which may be part of the problem. Highest RPM I can get is around 2500. I've set the processor/mobo to power saving mode until my replacement Zalman heat sink arrives.
Pros: It's big?
Cons: Three months after owning it, temps on the CPU started spiking radically, up to 65-70c. Nothing changed regarding the setup. I removed the cooler, cleaned the plate and cpu, re-applied Arctic Silver's Arctic Alumina and reseated the cooler. All fans in case in perfect working order and I'm still ...
Summary: Worked VERY well for.. 1 months, then it started to get pretty loud then the noise it makes, went up. Now I hate it, bought corsair liquid cooling (h100i).to replace it. I would recommend this fan for someone, that does not really care about noise and that wouldn't oc with it
Pros: -Very light -Very small and versatile -Price is cheap -Easy installation, with clear explaination
Cons: -Loud (see other toughts) -Poor life time..... -Can't acheive high overclock (overheats)
Summary: There are big voids on the contact surface between the copper pipes and the aluminium pad. Customer support is non-existent. I will cut my losses and junk the ones I bought, highly not recommended.
Summary: The saying you get what you pay for is true here. Very cheap mounting system. This has the loudest fan I have ever heard on a CPU cooler. I will go back to Arctic Freezer Pro or Cooler master next time.
Summary: The only reason I can think to buy this is if you want a 'cool' looking cpu cooler. Which doesn't hold up honestly, because at the same price point, others make ones that truly work. And they're quiet.
Pros: This thing looks look. It's not that bad to install it as well as Zalman has always had decent solutions for mounting.
Cons: Where to start with this? I'll give the overview - this is no better than the included stock cooler for my i5 processor. Temps were probably 2-3C hotter with this. It's VERY noisy - and no, it isn't a bad fan. When I took it off the processor simply because it was worse than what I had, I noticed...
Summary: I used this CPU cooler for a weekend and found it to be no better than stock. It installed easy enough and is secure, so I'll give it 2 stars for that and only that. Otherwise, this thing performs no better than the junky cooler Intel so kindly ships with your $300 CPU.
Seems to cool fine but I am very disappointing with how loud ...

Summary: Seems to cool fine but I am very disappointing with how loud it is. My main reason for buying it was because it is advertised as "ultra quiet." Now It's the loudest thing in my case. Louder even than the stock fan at idle temps.
