Summary: I'm using this with an AMD FX 8320 and it keeps below 40C at all times. When idle my CPU temperature can drop to as low as 12C and averages out at about 28C. Would recommend to anyone looking for a cheap and effective aftermarket cooler.
Summary: This cooler is super decent for the price. I picked this up a while back for $8 or something like that. Would be nice if it used a replaceable 120mm fan, but at this price it really doesn't matter. Got it because it's short so it fits well in my case which is rather narrow.
Summary: Easy install on oem mount points, for AM3+ anyways. It's not so heavy that you think its putting too much pressure on them. Used some high end ceramic thermal compound and its running my Athlon FX 4 core around 6-7 degrees at idle, 30 degrees at full bore.
Pros: Fits in a narrow mid tower with room to spare, runs cool with no overclocking, cheap way to reduce heat due to dust-magnet-oem-heatsinks.
Summary: I've had this cooler installed on a modest 20% overclocked AMD 955 on a 970-ud3 board, for well over a year. People try to torture anything that comes from my shop, to speculate how theirs will react when fixed / upgraded. It's been a loaner / backup for the past couple of months, but does great while gaming in a m59 case, 4 stock case fans for steady breeze. It never seems to ramp up except under my extreme test before the machine goes out to work again.
