  • Summary: this HSF is simply amazing and has been a life saver for me. when running a 3.0 ghz prescott p4 with the stock hsf, i was idling around 44C and i recall topping out at 67C one time. after installing the 7000A-AlCu with Arctic Silver 5, i idle around 36C and top out at 49C.

  • Summary: Put this on a AMD64 90nm 3000+ overclocked 20% to 2.16 gHz, voltage increased +0.005, using Arctic Silver thermal paste. System is housed in an Enlight 7101AX case with a Thermaltake Purepower 420 P/S. Side fan on P/S draws air right past the CPU heaksink and fan. No case fan.

The Best HSF Ever!

  • Summary: Man this fan is one heck of a piece of machinery. Installed very easy on my Socket 478 P4P800 motherboard. Plenty of clearance in my Antec Soho Server Case. Keeps my CPU idle at 29C. I used Artic Silver 5 on this HSF. I highly recommend this product.

Superb CPU Cooler!

  • Summary: I have had this CPU cooler on an Intel 3.0 GHz Prescott for over a month in a PC I built. It does a superb job at cooling. Very quiet fan. The CPU idles in the mid 30's. With a moderate load, the temp has never gone over 50C. Be aware that the size of this whole unit is large.

Awesome Cooler

Mark H., Newegg

  • Summary: Superb smooth operation, straight-forward installation, CPU now runs several degrees cooler & much quiter than with the stock Intel fan. CPU is an Intel PRESCOTT (notorious for running very hot) P4 3.0Ghz, 800FSB, 1Mb L2 Cache; running in a (crowded) MicroATX case, with an average ambient room...

  • Summary: The BEST heatsink/fan made. Unaudible at the lowest speed, and still cools better then stock / or louder heatsinks. Flawless design, cools both my 3GHz P4 , and Athlon64 2800 - at the lowest fan speed.

  • Summary: There are so many positive reviews here and also on the web for this cooler. And those are true, this is a no-compromise solution for P4 cooling. Compared to the stock cooler of my P4-3.06HT (oc to 3.45), CNPS7000A-AlCu is 10 degrees C cooler when running Prime95 (both coolers are installed with...

  • Summary: Absolutely the best heatsink for the price, weight and sound. I have a P4 2.8, 800fsb with Arctic Silver 5 and it never gets above 115 F. Not even after running prime 95 for 5 hours. A great buy!
