Summary: - Bought lots of XIGMATEK fans in past, only one of the fans burned out one LED. - Trusted fan brand!
Pros: - Looks very neat when the fan is on/off - 4 white LEDs but you can clearly see lots of orange light (airflow brings out orange smoke look) - Pretty silent - Decent amount of airflow - Blends in really well - Xigmatek makes good quality fans
Summary: On the bright side the picture provided in the listing details is spot on as to what you'll see in person. Orange blades lit up by very white LEDs. The white light bleeds a good bit as the LEDs aren't directional, like they should be for the best effect. That can a be plus or con depending on what type of lighting you want, but it will light your case white, too. They're adequate enough, but I wouldn't buy them when not on sale, that's for sure.
Pros: Attractive Slightly different LED solution from the norm.
Cons: Fan is a bit loud for its size and a bit unimpressive with air flow for its size. Again, average in every way but with an unwarranted higher price. Wasteful, wasteful packaging.
Summary: U can't beat this fan if u need an unusual color.....orange for a build. Believe me, orange LED is HARD to find. But the color is outstanding to say the least! I have reason to believe it's not blowing at rated value, but does blow decently!
Pros: VERY PRETTY!! Orange is hard to find but this one does orange LED in spades! Can't ask for better color. Blows good amount of air.
Cons: I don't believe it blows at rated capacity, but it is a very decent amount. Plastic clamshell is a real pain to open!
Summary: Remember most advanced bearings are very quiet, the noise comes when you start moving air especially through tight spaces. To stay on the silent side choose case with more fan openings preferably 120mm and above and set them on lower rpm. If your MB allows it set one or more of the exhaust fans to adjust to the CPU temp.
Pros: The fan looks good, moves a good amount of air and is silent - all the things I was hopping for. I set the fan at 800 rpm and I can barely hear it and still moves more Air than 120mm fan on higher rpms.
Cons: 3pin instead of 4pin connector, but for $9.99 I would not expect it anyway.
Summary: the plastic feels like its going to break when installing. my pc is blowing cold air. running at 32 degrees celsius.
Pros: The look very cool!
Cons: They are very loud... especially with 4 of them in my case... I can hear it whirring around pretty much always, but it doesn't really bother me because I have a space heater running that makes noise too.
