Looks good, performs well

Grant S., Newegg
22 June 2015
  • Summary: The frame may be better suited as black as opposed to translucent. This would emphasize the blades more. But, this is just opinion.
  • Pros: Pretty quiet especially when paired with a fan controller. These fans look good, and the color is one that is not often found. They move enough air and have not failed after three years of use.
  • Cons: No complaints.

  • Pros: The color is super unique. Airflow is respectable.
  • Cons: Quiet even at Max. Doesn't create a tornado in my living room.

Eh...

John I., Newegg
26 September 2013
  • Summary: This is really white LED with orange fan blades... I couldn't dock eggs as the description of the product says just that but I was really hoping for a vivid orange color. I'm disappointed with the color, had I known I would have gone with a blue or green.
  • Pros: Quiet...really quiet. Does the trick. When I power my machine on I can feel the air around my case drop a couple of degrees. I have 4 of these and a 140mm fan set up.
  • Cons: See below.

I always build my machines around these fans!

  • Pros: Whenever I build a custom case (not custom waterloop since Skythe fans are best for radiators) I always use these to compliment the entire build. Do they push massive amounts of air? No but as long as you have plenty of these and you dont keep your case in a non-ventilated closet you'll be fine o...
  • Cons: Price They dont push a lot of air for $9.99! Make sure to buy when you have the 20% off all FANs code :P

User Review

William A., Newegg

  • Summary: The orange glow is definitely lighter than you think. If you care about aesthetics, I have a Cougar Challenger Orange case and the color is slightly brighter than the plastic on the front.
  • Pros: These fans are silent. It pushes a fair amount of air. The Molex adapter helped a bunch with assembly. The more the better.
  • Cons: *laughs at the fact that this is a required field*

Nice and quiet

Stephen T., Newegg
13 March 2013
  • Summary: I'm really glad I got this fan and the cougar fans. They are both excellent. I do like the orange exhaust colors. I am happy they are quiet, and easy to install. I was amazed at how silent the become when plugged into the system fan 3 pin.
  • Pros: It's nice and quiet when plugged into a 3 prong, but all you can hear is the rush of air when plugged into a molex adapter. It's nice and orange. Looks nice as an exhaust fan. It can push a lot, or a little. It's up to you how you set them up.
  • Cons: Not as quiet as the cougar fans. White lighting on orange fans. White light bleeds out the sides. I am really impressed with these fans. The above is a very critical view. My Haf Xb case was painfully loud. These fans are a part of the solution. I am very happy with this fan.

  • Pros: I 3 of these to go with the Xigmatek Asgard 381 black and orange case I purchased. The build quiality is good. They are nearly silent. I have 3 of them plus an oem 80mm oem HP fan in the case and it is nearly silent when running. The leds are nice and bright but not over powering. Which is nice c...
