Summary: Sexy, quiet, ultimate eye candy, and does the job. It was everything I could want in a PC component that would be in the middle of my case. People say it's not quiet or it's not strong, Well i don't know what they are doing or what kind of environment they are in. I know That I did a few benchmarks afterwards when I installed this and I was very pleased with the results. It is dead silent and i have it maxed out at all times.
Summary: I saw this 3yrs ago when I was getting my shopping list together to build my first computer. had to have it. Just be careful on selecting your case, cause this is a big heatsink. My computer has been off amybe 10 times in 3yrs and the only problem I had out of this heatsink is one say it just stopped. I was like WTF??? Please no. So i took it out and there was a stinkbug cought in it. After removing the bug and reinstalling the heatsink, it still works fine.
Summary: Length:: 1:00 Mins I had recorded few seconds of this Thermaltake cooler sometime you want to see it running before you buy so here it is EASY TO INSTALL REMOVE PLASTIC ON MIRROR PIPE ( THE PART THAT GOES IN CPU) WORKS GREAT QUIET AND GOOD LOOKING FITS AM3 AMD CPU
Summary: REVISED EDIT BACKGROUND At the urging of a friend who said to retry this device, but switch to Arctic Silver thermal paste and only put the two rice grain sized pieces on it, I did. Well, installing the item, even in a large CPU case is no picnic, and you'll probably have to remove your motherboard to do it to make sure the clips make absolutely tight contact through the holes in the MB.
Summary: Greetings All, First off, the Spin Q is a great fan. However, there are a few CPU coolers on the market that will cool your CPU better than this one for less money. I have an AMD 9650 Quad-Core processor and the stock fan was not sufficient for my setup. I bought a budget 3rd party fan, but it was so loud that my wife complained about the noise. I have a clear side panel Lian-Li PC-60 case with blue LED fans and the Spin Q compliments it perfectly.
Summary: I purchased this CPU Cooler to OC my Intel 9550. It has a variable control fan speed. Normal temp is 27-31. Fan is very quiet. Looks good in my case. No problems installing this in my ASUS P5Q. I am extremely satisfied.
Summary: I've built a few computers before and never had to buy an after market cooler, but when i bought the E8400 (for the second time great cpu) the stock cooler that came with it was defective, i was reaching 175 C in a matter of seconds, so i bought this mainly because it was made by Thermaltake, now my temp is at a constant 35 C this cooler is great you wont be disappointed buy it.
