Summary: Had to return it, as the main cable broke apart on install, and RMA to Thermaltake. New one works fine, but it's loud and it buzzes quite a bit. Have opened the case and it isn't the hard drive. The buzzing quite frankly sounds like a motorcycle or old vehicle, some days it drives me nuts.
Pros: Temps around 30 degrees Celsius in fall, 35 in summer. It works.
Cons: Big. Bulky. Pain in the behind to install. Hurts your hands. Once it's in, don't readjust it, or you might break the screws.
Summary: I really hope I dont have to take this out and put it back in. It does what it says, and gives your computer a performance look. Next time I will go with something else.
Pros: Is keeping the cpu cool, havent had a chance to test overclocking yet. Looks cool.
Cons: VERY hard to install, I almost had to remove my MB out of my computer cause I didnt think I was going to be able to get it in there. With the help of my girlfriend we were able to make it work, I dont know how bad it messed up my thermal paste tho. A bit bulky, it stands up pretty high off the mo...
Summary: After a little over a year of service, the fan has died in mine. It's difficult to find a replacement due to the fact that it is a "squirrel cage" design of an odd size. It's going to be far easier for me to just buy a new cooler all together.
Pros: Looks good. Plenty of clearance for my Corsair Dominator Ram. Not too tall, it fits my case (Antec 1080AMG Plus SOHO). Better than the OEM AMD cooler.
Cons: In my opinion, its has 3 design flaws. 1) The fan is not replaceable because it's not a standard size or type. 2) The fan has a 3 pin connector, so I can not use the motherboards fan speed control. 3) Poor airflow design, It fights with then airflow of the case.
Summary: Pros: Looks good. Plenty of clearance for my Corsair Dominator Ram. Not too tall, it fits my case (Antec 1080AMG Plus SOHO) with Asus M3A78-T motherboard. Better than the OEM AMD cooler. Cons: In my opinion, its has 3 design flaws.
Summary: Works good at keepin the temps down, but could take alot of time to get it fitting right. Very big, so make sure it will fit your case before you buy. If you have a phenom it might not cover the entire cpu. I guess now that i think of it, maybe its not the heatsinks fault, it could me the mobo.
Pros: keeps my Phenom II X4 940 cool! Looks cool and lights up blue.
Cons: Had fitment issues with my mobo(ASRock A780GXE/128M), had to use a piece of chewing gum wrapper(the foilpaper) to put in between the heatsink and clip otherwise i could (with little pressure) poke the heatsink with my finger and it would rotate. Once i figured out a way to make it fit tight, i fo...
