M. irving, Amazon

  • Summary: you really cant get a better looking effective cpu heatsink. this one looks great. you have to have a case with a clear panel to enjoy this. it is a big heat sink so make sure your case has the room for it.

so awesome, and did I mention SO BIG

Amazon Customer, Amazon
24 February 2015
  • Summary: So big, so awesome, and did I mention SO BIG! If you have a smaller case, forget it, if you have the power supply at the top of your case, good luck, but if you can make it work its amazing!! It is a fantastically built, functional sculpture, with excellent cooling power.

Meh.

DiZzY, Amazon
20 October 2014
  • Summary: Works great. However, the mounting style straight up sucks. No back plate. It uses a push in type mounting with *plastic* push pins. Not that great for this heavy CPU.

  • Summary: Using on Intel i7 CPU for 4 going on 5 years without any issues. Would have used it on latest build but again, there is a question of compatibility with AMD 3+ CPUs.

Airflow Conflict and Noise

Shan, Amazon
20 March 2014
  • Summary: This product does cycle a lot of air, thats no problem at all. One major draw back with this is that it shoots that air in a 360 motion. There is not air flow. In fact, it will conflict with your current air flow if its uni-directional.

Not worth the money

William P., Newegg
28 March 2013
  • Summary: I remove my CPU cooler once a year to re apply thermal grease and reseat the cooler. This cooler is REALLY hard to do that on. I would say you could mount it with the MOBO out of the case, but if you have a micro atx or atx board it will block 3 plus screws.
  • Pros: Quite. Looks cool. Keeps CPU at a nice temp relatively speaking
  • Cons: VERY bulky Hard to install. Mounting is made of plastic and after removing twice was bent to the point that it couldn't be used.

Amazing Cooler

aschendel, Amazon
22 January 2013
  • Summary: This is my second Spin-Q, my first is still in use on a secondary system. The look and style initially drove me to this cooler, and the Thermaltake name. I have purchased many Thermaltake products over the years and have been happily satisfied with all of them.
