Thermaltake CLP0554 80mm Sleeve CPU Cooler

Jarah, pricebat.ca

  • Excerpt: The Cooler does a excellent job at venting heat from my cpu. This Is 1 of the greatest I've seen shy of stepping up to a liquid cooling rig. It's keeping my Phenom 1090t(clocked 3817) running at about 37C under load and maxed at 39C running a two hour anxiety test. The speed handle knob hangs, and depending on which path you mount it can lead to it to hit on your Video card. The red LEDs that light this point are underpowered.

  • Excerpt: really good heatsink. does the job without the need of flinching on the am3 t1100. its huge. my side fan will not match in the new nzxt case. dont be concerned about the side fan this point does not have to have it. it will hold the board cool.

Thermaltake CLP0554 80mm Sleeve CPU Cooler

  • Excerpt: -Moves a lot of hot air away from the CPU. -Keeps my AMD Athlon II X4 two.8ghz around 30c idle, and no higher than 40c under load. -Huge. I had to eliminate the side fan from my Apevia X-Supra G-Type Case to make space for it. I did not try overclocking with this cooler but, so I can't speak from that realm. Also, when I say Massive, I imply tall, this factor is not extremely wide at all.

Thermaltake CLP0554 80mm Sleeve CPU Cooler

  • Excerpt: Keeps temps down. What truly sold it for me was the clearance beneath the heatsink. My mobo is rather tightly packed and I was worried that other heatsinks would be too wide to fit in the space provided. This issue is large. - And I did my homework prior to buying. This thing is stupidly big (imagine a honeydew melon sitting on leading of your CPU).

  • Excerpt: Looks super cereal. Due to the fact its incredibly tall, i had to cut a hole in my case for it to fit and put a fan guard on it. After all that it truly looked SUPER SIIIIIICK!

Thermaltake CLP0554 80mm Sleeve CPU Cooler

  • Excerpt: Keeps my overclocked Ɠ.7ghz) i7-950 good and cool. The mounting hardware is type of on the low-cost/flimsy side, but given that this unit is somewhat light-weight, I didn't feel considerably about it. Nonetheless, after a couple of weeks I noticed the effects of vibration becoming a lot more and far more pronounced: I could see, hear, and really feel the vibration. I have turned the fan down from 1400rpm to 1100 and this appears to have remedied it. Time will tell.
