Thermaltake ISGC-400 CPU Cooler Review

Hardware Secrets

  • Summary: The ISGC-400, as well as other coolers with a similar design, did not perform well on our tests. In the ISGC series, it was better just than , but it was worst than and far worst than , the best of them. Its noise level was not bad, but it was also not one of the quieter we tested. Talking about price, it is an expensive cooler for the performance it offers.

Thermaltake ISGC-400 CPU Cooler

  • Summary: This is the second cooler I've been able to take a look at in Thermaltake's new ISGC line of products ( review of the ISGC-300 CPU Cooler here ), and so far it seems like this line of coolers and products is a winner. I was almost a little skeptical of the ISGC-400 due to its lower profile (smaller size), and I expected performance to suffer because of it but I was wrong about that.
  • Pros: Good Performance, High Quality Construction, Quiet, Intel i7 Compatible
  • Cons: Nothing Major

  • Excerpt: Available at many retailers for around $45-50 US, the ISGC-400 is not cheap, and one can easily find a cooler that performs as good or better, is easier to install and takes up less room for less money. Consequently, while the ISGC-400 may find a niche in the market due to its size and configuration, it's difficult to give it a blanket recommendation.

Thermaltake ISGC-400

iXBT.com
21 August 2009

Teste do Cooler Thermaltake ISGC-400
