Summary: I used to have a great deal of respect for Thermaltake. I will never buy any of their products again.
Pros: Cools well when new.
Cons: Low quality coolant caused a coolant flow failure and damaged my cpu due to fungus growing in it's "closed system". I expected way more than the paltry 1 1/2 years of service I got from this poorly assembled product. The radiator/reservoir was full but plugged with fungus. Obviously an anti-fungi...
Pros: Easy to Install, 5-10 tops even if you don't know what you're doing ( after figuring out which screws go where) Software is easy to use Dual fans are super quiet & efficient I purchased this for my AMD 8-core processor, I would highly recommend it to anyone who doesn't want to blow dust onto thei...
Cons: The radiator is massive so it's not ideal for someone with limited space. If you have the space to put it, I highly recommend this cooler
Summary: The radiator on this unit is very thick. Make sure this fits in your case before buying!
Pros: Super efficient cooler. Fans are surprisingly efficient and provide good performance with low noise. Download the latest software to take control the unit. Easy to use and well designed software. Installation process easier than the one use with the Corsair H100 Silent profile is... silent! Silen...
Cons: On medium and High profile a strident noise become audible. Since I don't need run the cooler at these profiles it doesn't matter much. Still, I just hope that this isn't a bad sign.
Summary: I bought this unit for my new build in December 2012 on super sale for $79 after rebate. it is cooling a AMD 8350. It cools the cpu off effortlessly on the silent setting. The software was easy to install and set up.
Pros: Very quiet on low and quiet on medium speeds. Hi speed Gets the job done but is a little noisy. Automatically adjusts performance in relation to liquid temp. Has never ramped past 30%.
Summary: The software says it can't detect any fans.
Pros: Silent as the grave. I thought it was broken when I first turned on the machine. It sits inside the CM Haf Full Tower, on an Asus Crosshair V Formula Z MB.
Cons: Even the longer fasteners were too short. I had a lot of trouble getting the first threads of each to grab on. As such, there's a slight wobble on the pump. I may have to go to a hardware store and find some longer bolts and compatible nuts.
Summary: Despite the software issues, and it being thick, I am really impressed by the cooling capabilities it has. I have always run air cooling this was the first water cooling i have ever done. Would get for another PC just will need to make sure not to get a Asus motherboard to use with it.
Pros: I really do like the closed loop and performance on this water cooling. It is keeping the proccessor it is on down around 20 degrees celsius. It's really easy to install.
Cons: It's thicker than some of the other options available. The software was giving me issues off the disk did have to go to the website to get the software working. It also occasionally has a bad time with displaying the current tempature of the proccessor.
Summary: I used this on a fm2/2+ cpu, which is not listed, but will work, I had to use the stock mb back plate, it had longer legs then the TT plate. used the longer srews "j" with stock back plate, all rest as in instructions.
Pros: keeps a a8 6600k @34-37c in norm use. looks very worksnice. nice HS ans quiet. have not heard and noises as others have. Have this on a fm2/fm2+ board
Cons: not really, fans are silent (to me). air going through rad out is a calm waf of air, does not blow paper off it, just slides away, but cpu is still cool.
Pros: Installation is so easy, a caveman could do it. This unit comes pre-greased and pre-filled. All I had to do was snap on the adapter, screw the mount onto the motherboard and screw the radiator to the case. It can't get easier than this!
