Ok product, missing item, no customer support

Jae L., Newegg
2 January 2014
  • Summary: Even with one fan it has fairly good cooling. However, customer support fails at responding. Contacted them 3 times, nothing but the automated response for RMA request
  • Pros: The fan can be cranked up to go really fast. Cools ok even with one fan (see cons and comments)
  • Cons: 1. Fan speed knob can only be accessed if you open up the case. So it is adjustable only if you are willing to pop the hood every time you do it. 2. Loud. By loud it sounds like a f-21 passing by when you put it at its max. 3. Was missing parts (2nd fan and connector). 4. Been a month since RMA a...

Missing Parts, Poor Customer Service

Christopher Renke, Amazon
6 September 2013
  • Summary: The cooler came without the rubber attachments to connect the secondary fan to the cooler; thus rendering this cooler substantially more ineffective. Efforts to get Thermaltake to send me the four tiny rubber bits was met with way more friction and bull**** that is necessary.

Bad Buy

Denesh N., Newegg
11 November 2012
  • Summary: don't buy.
  • Pros: nothing
  • Cons: Too big. Too heavy. Instructions were poor. I wasted a whole day trying to figure out the installation until i realize this product wouldn't work with my LGA2011 motherboard. I'm just thankful i didnt ruin any parts trying to install this thing.

Too large for my case

Anonymous, Newegg
23 September 2012
  • Pros: none
  • Cons: Too large to work with my Antec 300 Illusion case and Gigabyte motherboard. Would have had to remove 2 2Gig memory sticks to fit on the board. RMA'ed the fan set.

Worst

David C., Newegg
6 April 2012
  • Summary: This is decent cpu cooler if you can install it. I had hellish time installing this but even with that, it doesn't serve my purpose because of several reasons. 1. You won't be able to install this if you mount motherboard in case first.
  • Pros: *Decent cooling ability
  • Cons: *Size *Worst installation ever. Whoever came up with rubber screw method of installing fan should be fired. *Big
