Missing a FAN!

  • Summary: Wouldn't know it says it comes with a fan but it's missing one, trying to get RMA info from newegg right now to fix it
  • Pros: looks nice
  • Cons: It's HUGE it sticks out like 8 inches from the motherboard I have no idea if ANY case can fit this thing

  • Summary: After completely re-mounting this CPU cooler at least 6 different times, using three different thermal pastes and applying them in a similar number of ways (Noctua, Thermalright, and generic), and installing TWO 1600rpm Thermalright 120mm fans in a push-pull configuration, I get 36c at idle, and at...
  • Pros: Mounting bracket is nice.. Aesthetically pleasing... If large.
  • Cons: Included fan is only 1300 RPM - quiet though. Cooling is very underwhelming, especially for a $75 cooler. Unless some of you are living in the arctic circle, I find it amusing that some of you are claiming temps of 21-25c at idle.. that's 69-77 degrees fahrenheit.
