Thermalright HR-03 GT

18 June 2008
  • Conclusion: Even with the difficult install process the HR-03 GT proves itself to be worth the trouble. Thermaltake has once again produced a quality product that lives up to their name. If you decide to mount your heatsink on the top like I did you will have trouble releasing the PCI Express button should you need to remove your video card. The price is on the high side for thermal solutions, but it does perform at the top of its class.

Thermalright HR-03 GT: Heavyweight GPU Cooling

3 March 2008
  • Conclusion: The Thermalright HR-03 GT put up some extremely impressive performance numbers. Given the proper amount of ventilation, it can run even the most demanding games without a dedicated fan. With a fan attached, it has some of the best load temperatures that we've ever seen. Is the HR-03 GT right for everyone? Probably not. Though its fanless capability might be attractive for Home Theater PC builders, its sheer size eliminates it from at least some of those applications.

Thermalright HR-03 GT VGA Cooler

OverClock Intelligence Agency
7 January 2008
  • Summary: To compare the performance of the HR-03 I first recorded temperatures at idle and load using the stock cooler with the fan left on Auto speed setting. This isn't bad noise-wise when browsing through 2D apps but during gaming the fan rises above 50% and the sound level becomes very noticeable. I tested the HR-03 first as a passive-only cooler, then with a 92mm fan on low speed (25cfm), and finally with the same fan on high speed (80cfm).

Thermalright HR-03 GT GPU Cooler Review

Hardware Canucks
30 July 2008
  • Conclusion: Once again Thermalright has taken the lead in performance, construction and engineering with the release of their HR-03 GT heatsink. Considering this cooler is made to be compatible with some of the most popular cards on the market and there is (believe it or not) very little competition at this time, it will probably reign supreme for some time to come.

Thermalright HR-03 GT

8 December 2008
  • Conclusion: A meglepetés csak ekkor jött, ugyanis a gyári hűtő alapjáraton 80 fokon tartotta, míg terhelve 86 fokig engedte fel a GPU-t, de ekkor már a venti is elég hangos volt. Az új hűtővel alapjáraton 35 fokot, míg terhelve 45 fokot mértem, ekkor a Noctua venti csökkentett fordulaton, a mellékelt halkító adapterrel járt szinte hangtalanul.

Thermalright HR-03 GT

9 August 2008
