Good Product

Bill B., Newegg
14 December 2012
  • Summary: I installed this unit in one of my workstations, which is built into a California PC Products desktop style case. This case has always been a problem to keep cool. This slot cooler was the solution to chronic overheating.
  • Pros: * Works as advertised. * Reasonably quiet for the airflow rating. * Fits the chassis with no problems.
  • Cons: * Uses a Molex four-pin connector.

  • Summary: Seems like a good little thing, really easy to set up. Not noticed any difference in my Graphics Card Temprature still lurking around the 62'C mark.

  • Summary: I have and use two of these in the back of my computer. I have had no over heating problems, could do with a small tab to go into empty pci slot that they cover, this would stop any movment. overall i think these are great.

Rubbish

dabs.com
20 November 2005
  • Summary: Absolute rubbish! It fixes to the case via 1 screw, meaning that it pivots freely! When you stand the tower back up, it flops down. The only solition is to screw it in *really* tight, which you shouldnt have to do.

  • Summary: This does exactly what is says it does. The fan works very well and extracts a lot of air yet is pretty quiet. The design alloows it to be fitted very close to the graphics card so it creates a great air flow. A good purchase at a fair price.

Good product at a small price

  • Excerpt: "Now why would I want such a product?" I hear you cry. Well it's quite simple, for a minimal fee of £5-£15 (depending on where you purchase) you can extend the life of your computer components.
