Summary: I have been using these for several months to cool my LEDs on my reef tank. I have two of them running about 12 hours/day and not only do they move a decent amount of air for their size, but they are super quiet too. The last fans I had were smaller and way louder.
Summary: My old fan was dying. I replaced it with this. Problem solved. Looks just like the old fan but works. Easy to replace. Even a novice could do it. Just 4 little screws and a pull/push plug. If you don't know what you are doing, you can watch videos on YouTube.
Summary: Had a problem with the stock fan nearing the end of its life cycle, becoming noisy; seemed like the bearings had gone wonky. And i wanted a reliable, and especially *quiet* fan replacement. Researched online for what looked like the best price versus performance and quiet running.
Summary: Replaced the Sunon case fan in my HP Pavilion Elite with this StarTech 9.25cm case fan. The whole process took less than 5 minutes. The original fan was defective from day one but it was an intermittent problem and HP tech support wasn't able to isolate isolate the source.
