Summary: I've had mine installed for nearly a year (northbridge cooler on mobo). It hasn't FAILED, but it's a rattler - this behavior started after a few months. For some reason, that seems to just be the eventual outcome on these smaller fans...

Summary: Mine was noisy from the start. Was trying to replace an already noisy fan, and this one was worse then the 7 year-old fan I was replacing. I should say this fan was placed in an nVidia Northbridge graphics contraption which left it horizontal to my motherboard, but this is no excuse for it being...
Summary: This fan did the trick. My old computer is now at an acceptable noise level. I've only had it installed for a week so I can't speak for how it holds up after time. I bought it because it has two bearings and hop I get longer life out of it than some of the others I've had.
Summary: Bought it to replace the extruder fan on my 3D printer (Ultimaker, first gen, rev04) and it worked great. If you search online most people will tell you that you need a 40mm fan, but it's slightly misleading because you need a 50mm fan with 40mm mounting holes!
