Summary: While the NZXT Kraken X60 arguably has the best performance among closed-loop coolers, its 280mm-class radiator won’t fit in a large number of mid-size cases, and it has a plastic backplate and three-year warranty. The H100i is the other main contender; like the TD02, it has a five-year warranty and metal backplate, but it also gets comparable performance from a conventional size, giving it an edge when it comes to case compatibility.
Summary: Like its
, the SilverStone TD02 has a unique look that differs from the other sealed liquid cooling systems we saw to date. The metallic block is beautiful, and the big radiator looks like it has been designed for computer cooling applications, not for use with engines or industrial machines like most others.
The cooling performance of the TD02, on the other hand, was excellent, reaching the same level of the best watercoolers we tested so far.
