Silverstone Filter

Clayton B., Newegg
15 December 2015
  • Summary: I bought this just to try it out. I have a dog, a very hairy dog that stays in my room most of the time, so my computer gets dusty really quick. I usually dust out my computer once every 2 weeks, if not sooner, because of the amount of dust and hair that gets inside.
  • Pros: Cheap Catches Dust Easy to clean
  • Cons: Flimsy Magnet is very weak

  • Summary: Not a whole lot to say, other than it's exactly what you'd expect. I have multiple German Shepherds in my household, so a filter cover is an absolute must have for any fan intakes on my system.
  • Pros: -Clean look -Filters well -Not overly restrictive -Magnetic, but still has screw holes
  • Cons: -None

Great filter

Scott M., Newegg
28 October 2015
  • Summary: At $10 they are a little pricey if you have multiple systems and a bunch of intake fans but well worth it to keep all the crud off your components. Luckily my Fractal case came with filters on all the front and bottom fans already.
  • Pros: Great magnetic filter, my side panel inlet fan was the only intake fan without a filter on it and this was easy and the magnet keeps it in place for easy removal/cleaning.
  • Cons: Not free?

Works good

Thomas V., Newegg

  • Pros: Very fine filter, should get all the dust, doesn't restrict as much air as one would think.
  • Cons: Magnet seems a little week, with that said, it hasn't moved from the side of my case since I put it there a few days ago, so I guess its strong enough.

SilverStone Fan Filters Have No Equal

Herbert W., Newegg
17 July 2015
  • Summary: I have several Silverstone FF121 120mm Fan Grilles and opted for the 120/140mm versions of the Ultra Fine fans. I have been impressed with both sizes. You need only gently blow air through the filter to realize how the air passes through with minimum resistance.
  • Pros: Works nicely with radiators. Truly amazing airflow. Collected dust is clearly visible and easily removed with a vacuum.
  • Cons: Mediocre magnetic hold. The magnet strength is no better or worse than any other brand using soft-core magnets. (Definitely not a show stopper for those that prefer screws).
