Summary: Used briefly in an NZXT H440. Outside the case or with the front panels and filters off these fans pushed air in a very nice column that made it all the way through the case with little loss in power. However, once you add an air filter, this cuts down on the air velocity noticeably. It's still pretty good at this point. Add in the closed-off front panel you typically find in silent cases and this fan becomes anemic and is unable to deliver satisfactory airflow.
Pros: Excellent flow focus. Very quiet. Very good build quality. Includes speed control cable.
Cons: Flow-focusing vanes restrict fan output. Combined with a restrictive intake, there is very little airflow at full speed. Doesn't spin fast enough to compensate.
Summary: I also own 4 of the 140mm fans of this model and they are waaay better. I completely recommend those there the same price and worth it. These I can't really recommend because they are to expensive for the amount of delivered performance. If I could do it again I would have got the Gentle Typhoons.
Pros: UV reactive, fairly quite, sleeved.
Cons: Not suitable for Rad usage IMO, doesn't push as much air as you would think, I own two of these and they they're both just kind of blah. Currently using both as intake fans and am just not that impressed.
