Summary: This controller is working flawlessly for the 2000 rpm fans that I have right now. Too bad the channels are not 30W each, but at this price I cant complain. I'm going to get anothor controller for my delta fans because they are really power hogs.
Pros: Has 6 channels, no more controlling fan speed via motherboard
Summary: Using this with the Asus P8H61-i mini-itx motherboard and the Lian-li PC-Q07 case. It does leave plenty clearance between the psu. Although, I'm not sure if it covers the pci-e slot. You would likely be able to fit something in there, but I'm pretty sure it would touch the heatsink pipes, maybe even push it a little. Check out the GeminII S524 heatsink.
Great low-pro CPU cooling solution for cramped spaces

Pros: Built an AMD mobile rig with this cooler, and man is it a wonder! VERY tightly fit into a case that's got only 2.6" of clearance between base and cover, but it sealed with ease, even with the MB risers. Fan is ultra-quiet at 50% load.
Cons: The heat pipes could prove to be a tight fit against MB heatsinks but worked out just fine with the MB I used with NO modification (AsusF1A75-I, another GREAT product). Nothing a thick swathe of thermal paste couldn't fix.
Summary: - the heatsink was designed to not conflict with RAM modules, with a few millimeters margin. But most modern RAM modules come with passive cooling/cosmetic wrapper (some plastic/metal case around the module), thus increasing the size, which can cause problem on dense systems like HTPC/mini-itx ones. I had to remove the metal wrapper from one of my module to expose the RAM chips (not a problem, I don't overclock my RAM) in order for the heatsink to fit in my system.
Pros: - Very, very quiet, absolutely nothing comparable with the stock CPU cooler (core i3-2100)
Cons: - install takes a few minutes, and requires access to the bottom of the motherboard
Pros: Very nice low profile cooler. Able to fit in my Silverstone GD05 case with a full size optical drive. Also able to fit on my Gigabyte G31 ES2L Micro ATX motherboard with both memory slots occupied.
Cons: Wish it was easy to remove/change the provided fan.
