Summary: I cut one of my 5 1/2 bays in half to make room for 400mm rad in my Cooler Master HAF X 943 and it fit perfect int the now "5 1/2" 1/2 bay. :D
Pros: Really nice looking, Dose what it says. The screen is really sharp looking and easy to use. Would suggest this to any one to keep your case clutter free from mulit 3 to 2 pin connectors. That and it give the case a really nice look.
Cons: The switcher knobs can be a pain to turn for fan switching. They should have made it a bit better grip instead of smooth like the fan controller knobs.
Summary: IMPORTANT NOTE: This is a manual fan controller. If you want something to control your fans automatically based on temperature, look elsewhere: this just tells you temperature and fan speed, and lets YOU change the fan speed!
Pros: Allows you to control the speed of up to six fans with six knobs (3 pin fans or 4 pin PWM fans) Fan speeds and six temperatures displayed (via tape-on temperature probes) Display readable from any angle.
Cons: Knobs seem delicate. The left half of the display can only display the fan speed and temerature on channel 1, 2, or 3, and the right half only shows 4, 5, or 6. So I CAN'T show 1 and 3 , for example, simultaneously, because they are two options on the same side of the screen.
Summary: It's just me but it was nice just to site down and read Japanese on the box for a change along with the English. (There are mufti-lingual instructions in the box) pretty straight forward design though. no issues installing what---so--ever.
Pros: The enclosure is all metal not this metal faceplate with flimsy sides. Comes with temp sensors, 3 pin fan extensions (great plus) solid feeling unit Compact and 6 fan unit. knobs stick out about 1/2 inch from flush with a case for those who have bezels and case fronts with cool cases or even rack...
Summary: I do not regret buying this product, it is somewhat expensive but is worth it to me for higher build quality. I have no problem recommending this product.
Pros: -Well built -Display is sharp and can be read at almost a 90 degree -Temp probes are nice plus and seem to be accurate -Does what it's supposed to do, no reliability issues -Fan control are firm and feel well built
Cons: I have a Corsair 600T case and does not fit probably in the tool less drive bays, there is also no place for a screw to keep it in place.
Summary: Regarding the note, never use this temperature for hardware. Use this to determine the temperature inside of your case to help show you where you might need more airflow. I have found these sensors are usually 10-15C lower then what the actual temps I got from the motherboard.
Pros: -Easy access to adjusting fans -Monitor internal temp of your case*note* -Makes your rig look more sweet
