Summary: This controller is working flawlessly for the 2000 rpm fans that I have right now. Too bad the channels are not 30W each, but at this price I cant complain. I'm going to get anothor controller for my delta fans because they are really power hogs.
Pros: Has 6 channels, no more controlling fan speed via motherboard
Summary: Had this in a M350, fits nice and snug, kept the i5 2500k nice and cool on a Intel H67 board. No issues what so ever, even though this CPU (TDP)is technically not supported by this board. This fan keeps it running nice and cool!
Pros: Low profile, can be run WITHOUT fan if required
Summary: Using this with the Asus P8H61-i mini-itx motherboard and the Lian-li PC-Q07 case. It does leave plenty clearance between the psu. Although, I'm not sure if it covers the pci-e slot. You would likely be able to fit something in there, but I'm pretty sure it would touch the heatsink pipes, maybe even push it a little. Check out the GeminII S524 heatsink.
Pros: Nice and low profile, good price point, build is great, nice looking unit.
Cons: This can be a noisy unit if it's on high and your system needs the cooling. For my build it seemed to have to be always 75 from full throttle half of the time. Although the heatsink is low profile it may tend to intefere with your CPU and RAM placement on a ITX build.
Summary: - Cooling performance on the Zotac Z68ITX-A-E mainboard is lackluster. The mainboard itself is too claustrophobic to have the fan blow down towards the base, because it creates a static pressure bubble, preventing the fan from efficiently pulling cool air down over the heat pipes and fins. Unfortunately, as stated above, it didn't work 'blowing up' which would have removed the static pressure problem. End result?
Pros: - Low Profile
Cons: - Did not work with fan flipped to blow "up" through the fins, which would have been ideal inside of the Lian-Li Q11-B Case I am using, so CPU heat exhausted straight out of the PSU exhaust fan. Fan continued to 'unexpectedly' rub on some unseen part of the Heatsink under low speeds (fine under high speeds...unbalanced fan blades maybe?)
