Pros: This fan definitely delivers the rated airflow without an excess amount of noise. Add a set of rubber/silicon fan isolators to reduce the drone to acceptable levels even at full blast. the fan controller gives more than adequate control of RPM's and noise which is nice given the price point.
Cons: The fan controller takes up a PCI slot, so keep that in mind if you are short on expansion slots.
Pros: Fits great, looks great, a little noisy but I knew that when I bought them and didn't want an ultra quiet case. If it gets too loud I can turn them down with the fan control so it's all good.
Cons: The cables that hook up the fans to the computer or motherboard are a little long but that just means they'll fit anywhere. I was able to manage the cables with little zip ties no problem but others may find it bothersome.
Pros: I purchased 2 of these fans over a year ago and they are still working great. The fan controll is nice as in that it not only controlls the fan speed but also the brightness of the lights. As you drop the fan speed the lights also dimm and of course if you turn em up they get brighter and bright they are two could light a 15' x 20' room lol just kidding but they are very bright. Almost 2 years old and still running great.
Summary: I took a closer look, because this thing's just not worth the RMA, and found (Rosewill, hope you're reading this) that the positive wire leading from the LED1 connection had broken at its solder joint in the center of the fan... several copper threads were still sticking off of the attachment point.
Pros: The LED's are beautiful. Perfect shade of blue, almost a royal blue. Quiet too!
Cons: Out of the box, only three of the four LED's worked.
