Summary: Probably the quietest cooler out there and perfect for the recording studio.
Max temp (CPUID) on Intel Core i7-4790K @ 4.00GHz is 80C would have liked lower.
Biggest drawback is it's size as it covers ram A channel on Z97X-Gaming 7. this restricts you to low profile memory.
Summary: Installed one of these yesterday in a clients gaming machine and it's literally huge, really easy to install and as others have said almost silent. Fantastic performance as expected from Phanteks and I'd have no hesitation in recommending it.
Summary: As normal excellent service from overclockers, This cooler is beastly (in size and cooling performance) It keeps my i7-4970K @ 4.7ghz in the low 60s on max and high to low 20-30s. Easy to set up and quite.
Summary: You need a big case for this cooler but its worth it!
Very nice quality and near silent.
Getting temps very rarely above 40 degrees with I7 4770K @ 4.5 MHz when gaming.
Must be the best air cooler out there!
Summary: Did a LOT of research on coolers and this came out on top, was a little uncertain as to wether it would fit inside the case. My previous fan was a sythe mine..this blows it away..ultra quiet and has reduced the core temp by about 10 degrees. problem solved.
Excerpt: This cooler is very bulky and will provide cooling on par with low end liquid cooling setups which is excellent, however it is very tedious to fit when in some cases such as the Zalman z9+, it may be easier to fit outside the case if you can manage to screw in the motherboard with this cooler...
Excerpt: Had this delivered today and must say I'm impressed! Cpu never goes above 31c idle with I7 4770k @ 4.4Ghz. Haven't fully stress tested it yet though but can already see significant improvement compared to the intel stock cooler, especially whilst gaming.
