OCZ Vendetta CPU Cooler

21 February 2008
  • Excerpt: The word vendetta makes me think of the recent movie, V for Vendetta. It makes me think of a challenge and rebellious behaviour against the establishment. So what does this mean in regards to OCZ's Vendetta CPU Cooler? I'm guessing it refers to OCZ's fight against the heat eminated within from processors: OCZ's Vendetta against heat! Sounds corny? Yes it does. BUT did OCZ win the bitter feud? Let's find out.

OCZ Vendetta CPU Cooler Review

27 January 2008
  • Conclusion: The OCZ Vendetta proves that a CPU cooler does not have to be a huge, hulking heavy beast to keep your CPU cool, it's nice to see that such a small cooler can do the job of those much bigger than itself. The installation of both the cooler itself and the fan can't be much simpler, and I really like the new fan mount system that OCZ has come up with for the Vendetta.

  • Summary: Instead of soldering on a bulky copper base plate, the Vendetta heatsink takes advantage of the superior heat conducting capabilities of heat pipes to efficiently move heat from the processor

OCZ Vendetta CPU cooler review

Elite Bastards
26 December 2007
  • Conclusion: With the market for third-party CPU coolers seemingly growing by the week, it's a tough market to make a splash in, and this line of thought is certainly one that can be applied to the OCZ Vendetta.  Looking at it in isolation, it's not a bad cooler at all for its particular price point - It's roughly on a par with other similar parts with regard to its noise level, where it can also benefit from variable fan speeds via a PWM fan header, and it offers greatly improved...

OCZ Vendetta CPU cooler review

The Guru of 3D

  • Summary: Yep, plain and simple.  I like the Vendetta. This OCZ product brings a lot on the table for not a lot of money. Noise levels are good as long as you can control RPM from the mainboard BIOS or if you have a fan controller, if not you should skip the product. Performance is actually really good for this rather affordable product. The Aesthetics are just fine and the pricing is really okay isn't it ?

OCZ Vendetta CPU Cooler

OverClock Intelligence Agency
20 November 2007
  • Summary: It looks like OCZ has hit another home run with the Vendetta CPU Cooler. The exposed heatpipes do exactly what they are supposed to do and add definite coolness factor. With the shiny brushed aluminum finish, logo punched into the surface, and V-shape, it looks very nice mounted in my rig. The 92mm fan makes it smaller than many coolers. Actually, it is smaller than some coolers that also have a 92mm fan.

OCZ Vendetta CPU Cooler

14 November 2007
  • Summary: I was overall very happy with the OCZ Vendetta CPU cooler, this is the first OCZ cooler we have taken a look at, and it definitely held its own. Now the Vendetta didn't blow away the competition with its performance, but for a ~$30.00 Dollar cooler, it is quite impressive. In our testing it was pretty close to most of the other coolers we have tested, and only trailed some of the more expensive coolers by a few degrees.
  • Pros: Nice Quiet Cooler, Good Cooling Performance, Competitively Priced
  • Cons: None

OCZ Vendetta CPU Cooler

7 October 2007
  • Summary: The OCZ Vendetta, in my opinion is one of the very few CPU coolers that's really impressed us. Through personal experience, most heatpipe coolers can only offer average cooling performance, even with the help of an active fan. I could say the same about this cooler but to be honest, it was better than I expected. Without a fan, the OCZ Vendetta performed as expected ... cooling the processor at an acceptable temperature.
  • Pros: - Universal CPU cooler that fits both AMD and Intel CPUs, - Good cooling performnce, - Small footprint compare with other heatpipe coolers, - Easy installation, - 3 large copper heatpipes with large aluminum fins, - Optional 92mm included
  • Cons: - Fan installation recommended

Review OCZ Vendetta

Traficantes de Hardware
19 April 2008
  • Cons: Ruido generado a 12v

OCZ Vendetta

29 January 2008
