This isn't a problem for me since the temp data is useless and I have other ways to tell the time
26 January 2015
Summary: It controls the fans well on manual. The temp sensors don't functions correctly (see the other numerous reviews stating this problem) they never read greater than 81 f. I use "real temp" software to monitor my temps so for me this was not a purchase I'm total unhappy with.
Cons: i had this controller for the purpose of running 5 fans at some point. i ran just 2 fans off of it for a while but recently i added 3 more and in turn all fans running off this controller flicker at the same time about 2 to 3 seconds apart. sucks because it is very distracting other than that it ...
Summary: The product would be much better if the auto mode had selectable low/high temperature points and fans speeds. As is, it will not work in my application. And being able to have some fans manually controlled while others auto controlled would help.
Pros: Allows temperature sensing and manual control of up to 5 individual sensors and fans.
Cons: For auto control, you are unable to set low and high speed temperature points along with their fan speeds. Only uses some unknown, un-settable, pre-set temperature points and fan speeds. Cannot have some fans manual control and others on auto. The manual is very unclear on these issues.
Pros: Works, has 3 pin & molex connectors, easy to use, somewhat accurate temperature reads, low price. It's fully operational and is powering 5 fans with somewhat accurate temp reads. Awesome for those who don't mind cheap or have a tight budget.
Cons: If i would have known how cheaply made it was gonna be i would not have purchased it. it took me over an hour to get this fan controller to work. It also came with a bird's nest of cables. I had to bend some of the pins in the main molex power connector just to get it to work. A couple of the 3 p...
Aesthetically this thing is pretty much the nicest thing out there

Summary: Oh boy...where to start. Aesthetically this thing is pretty much the nicest out there next to the external Sentry LXE. Unfortunately, it's plagued by functional issues. Don't get me wrong, the thing works. It just doesn't work well. Here are some examples: 1.
Cons: Cant switch it to manual. says you can but it doesnt work. so my fans stay at 60% no matter what. Living in fl that doesnt work well. Need 100% gaming and most can be off while just watching movies.
Pros: Works well if you want to run your fans at 100% all the time.
Cons: The purpose of buying this product was so that I could scale back the speed at which I run my fans. If I attempt to run at anything below 100%, the fan controller creates a loud buzzing sound. I've contacted NZXT support and they told me there are fans that don't work well with this unit. I'd lik...
Pros: Looks nice. Easy to customize. Set up was easy. When it worked it was great.
Cons: After about six months of use, any time the internal temperature of the case starts going up the controller cuts power to the fans! If you nudge the wires leading to the fan it typically will regain connection, however that is not a long term fix as it always goes back out a bit later. Basically ...
Pros: I can control up to 5 fans which is great and goes great with my case.
Cons: Even tho its a fan controller it might as well not be one and just be a connector. I have two cougar 140mm and two cougar 120mm fans hooked up they always have to be at the highest speed because when i try and change the speed i get high pitch ringing and other weird sounds which are extremely an...
Summary: I thought that maybe I had a noisy power supply for one of the RMAs, but when I got the new unit back, the temperature is only jumping around a couple of degrees, and it is not too bad. Is stable on some of the channels.
Pros: Looks good on the front of the case. Works well when they work. Can control 2 pin fans.
Cons: Previously, I gave 5 eggs and a grand review of this item. I must of gotten lucky on the first one that i bought because I bought three more of them, but it has not gone so well. Of the three that I bought, I have had to RMA 2 of them back to Newegg (not Newegg's fault at all). The two units that...
