This isn't a problem for me since the temp data is useless and I have other ways to tell the time
4 days ago
Summary: It controls the fans well on manual. The temp sensors don't functions correctly (see the other numerous reviews stating this problem) they never read greater than 81 f. I use "real temp" software to monitor my temps so for me this was not a purchase I'm total unhappy with. The display is neat but as stated in other reviews it can only be viewed basically from a straight on angle.
Aesthetically this thing is pretty much the nicest thing out there

Summary: Oh boy...where to start. Aesthetically this thing is pretty much the nicest out there next to the external Sentry LXE. Unfortunately, it's plagued by functional issues. Don't get me wrong, the thing works. It just doesn't work well. Here are some examples: 1. Manual fan modes aren't saved when you switch between auto and manual 2.
Cons: Wow where do I start?? I went through 3 of these things before finally coming to the realization that these units simply arent programmed very well. I can get past the poor viewing angles of the display since the unit is some what cheap and the display is large, but I cant over look the other problems. I had to physically rip the speaker off just to get the darn thing to remain quiet! It randomly beeps for no reason at all!! Its constantly sending my fans into full bl...
Summary: Please don't get me wrong. Support NZXT all you wish. They sell great things! My new build is composed of several NZXT products. But I strongly advise that you stay away from this product, and if you are looking for a fan controller by this company, get the single bay, 5 channel touch screen controller instead. It actually works the way it was intended, with or without all the channels being used!
Pros: This allows you almost complete control over up to 5 individual fans within your case. Equip with 5 heat sensors for "Auto" mode, which will adjust your fans accordingly to the temperature in the area each sensor is placed. This item looks very fancy. Adds that final touch of "WOW" to your gaming PC. Though the screen has a very bad viewing angle.
Cons: This controller detects anything slower than 400RPM or so to be 0% speed, and then beeps. This means if you keep your case cool, likely your fans will slow down, thus causing this device to make a sudden BEEEEP without warning. It is startling, and there is no way to disable it. Secondly, this device has a software glitch. Lets say you have a fan on channel 1, 2, 3 and 5 (skipping 4 for this example). It will work fine and dandy under Manual mode, when using the fan s...
Summary: It's not worth buying. I would not recommend it to anyone and would probably advise against buying it. I doubt I'll be buying any NZXT controllers in the future.
Pros: It looks very nice. I like the overall "feel" of it. Unfortunately that's about it though. It does power the fans, if that should even be a pro at all considering it's a fan controller.
Cons: I guess I have to blame myself for picking this up. I was excited to get it because of the display and what I thought would be ease of use. However the functionality is horrible. Even when it's set on manual mode, the fans don't maintain their speed and are constantly fluctuating. Trying to keep them all running at max is impossible. There is a "beeping" for alarm in case a fan stops working. The alarm goes off randomly for no reason. Even if you disable the alarm, it...
Summary: it is an insufferable device hell bent on torturing you *BEEP*with random beeping! even right now its beeping. i have the temp alarm set to *BEEP* off. however there is no way to *BEEP* turn off the "fan stop" alarm. over all its not a bad product... if you dont mind a nice loud *BEEP* beep every 10 seconds or so. i gave this product a 2 egg because *BEEP* it still looks really cool. and does power 5 fans and has a great *BEEP* design.
Pros: looks great. got here fast with free shipping. lots of temperature gauges. plenty of wire to connect to fans anywhere in your case!
Cons: dosent hold an accurate time/date. dosent control my fans very well (either on or off. no in between) inacurate rpm gauges. THE WORST PART!... the constant beeping!!!!!!!!!!
Pros: When setting the fan RPM manually the fan controller seems to function properly. It's a Decoration. < Not sure if this is pro or con. It cost a lot...
Cons: Every so often I have to re input all of the settings, for example right now the clock says it's 2010... It doesn't keep the maximum temperatures you have input so it's not safe to let the device automatically control fan RPM. So I always leave it set to Manual. Also about it resetting everything, each time it does this it changes back to automatic fan control which could be dangerous if you aren't paying attention because it turns down your fans and will let your equ...
Summary: Overall, I wouldn't recommend it if you have 4 or 5 fans to run in your computer. I find it very annoying when it resets my one fan over and over. It wouldn't be so bad if there was a noise shut off setting.
Pros: It has a decent display and was easy to install. It was also shipped quickly.
Cons: 1.On the auto setting, it seems like it keeps shutting off my fans. So I get constant beeping. 2.On manual setting. It keeps shutting off my 4th fan (120mm 2000rpm) and beeping. 3.Manual also doesn't allow me to control the 2nd fan.
Pros: I got this from a different manufacturer but it's the same model and have had it for awhile. It looks cool but aside from that the temperatures of the CPU at off by at least 10 c. AMD Overdrives shows my cpu at 33-40 at full load but the NZXT shows 26.5 , thats a pretty huge difference. ><
Cons: The left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing with this thing. It's been wrong since day one and it's 3 years old. I didn't get it at newegg but from ibuypower from the "configurator"
