Summary: Replaced the Arctic Silver 5 with this NT-H1. Booted up my computer and just sitting at idle I could hear less fan and feel more heat. Granted upon cleaning the old Silver off of there I did notice the craptastic job I did at applying it.
Summary: I purchased this thermal paste since my laptop was having heating issues, after using this amazing heat paste temperature has come down now my machine is very stable as new. I applied it on CPU as well as GPU and works perfect now.
Summary: I bought this thermal paste for computer builds after using a number of others. I does an excellent job, comparing it to Artic Silver and several others... Enough to do at least a dozen computers too, and the price was right as I caught it on sale at Amazon.
Summary: I found this thermal paste to be better than anything I have used in the past. It is easy to apply and has a good consistency. My temperatures are now much better on the CPU and GPU. I would give Noctua NT-H1 5 stars if it came in a larger quantity. I got one application on the CPU and one on the GPU. Other reviewers said they had much more in the tube. I used a minimal amount on my CPU and GPU and after one application each I have an empty tube.
Summary: I was a non-believer. I didn't think that thermal pastes really made THAT big of a difference... until I bought this paste. Replaced the stock paste used on the Corsair h100i, which I believe is something along the lines of shin-etsu, so definitely not some crap stock paste. All my temps are down at least 10 degrees celsius. Before I was getting idle temps of about 40ish in a hot room during the summer. Now I'm getting 30ish idle, and 50 under load.
Summary: I'm a computer tech and use Thermal Interface Material regularly. I'm not aware of another product that is easier to use which provides consistent, superior results at any price. Some may make some pretty strong claims, others may require sacrificing a young goat under a moonless sky while chanting klingon, and some may require mortgaging your Mom's mini-van, but none offer less fuss with better results.
Summary: Lowered my Radeon HD 7950 temps at load ~ 5ºC. The original paste was applied fairly decent, so was surprised with the amount of decrease in temperature the NT-H1 had. Very happy with the performance.
