Summary: Works great. I'm a bit of a weirdo but I removed the Noctua fan and replaced it with a high speed LED on that I mounted on the bracket, probably lost a couple degrees in performance but it looks amazing, and as I'm not regularly maxing out the CPU on my HTPC, it wasn't a huge concern.
Summary: After struggling to find a cooler that would be compatible with my Cooler Master Elite 120 Advanced case while being effective enough to cool a 4770k in a cramped environment I settled on this little guy. I have been very impressed with its ability to cool while maintaining relative silence.
Summary: Very nice... However, it didn't exactly perform the way I thought. Overall... it may have taken down about 2c on max load from my stock intel cooler. This cooler is ideal for micro atx builds that have a PSU sitting on top of their system and have serious height clearance issues. For overclocking...
Summary: I crammed an i7 4770K into a micro ATX set up, and saw about a 5 C difference (cooler) with the Noctua over the stock CPU fan. It seems the amount varies under different conditions (more at idle, less at load), but 5 C is what I'd say is an "average.
Summary: I needed a cooler with a very small footprint for my small mini-itx build, and this was the best fit. Had an installation question and contacted Noctua customer support, and they responded immediately and were very helpful!
Pros: Small, quiet, extremely well built, nice finish and packaging
One of the highest quality products I've seen in a while

Summary: I rarely write reviews, but this is truly a quality product and it deserves mention. It seems that most products these days feel cheap and poorly made. This product is the exact opposite. It looks, feels, and works great. It's quiet and it keeps the CPU cool. I can't recommend it enough.
If you need a low profile cooler (in my case for use in a SilverStone HTPC case with 70mm clearence to the optical drive) this i

Summary: Used in a Media PC/Gaming build last fall. Very compact (doesn't extend into the "red zone" and interfere with RAM kit) and keeps my i7-4790s CPU in the 40's. Installation was straigh forward and you can tell that a lot of thought went into the quality of this cooler (down to the packaging).
Summary: Replaced a stock Intel HSF on an I7-2600k. Running at stock speeds (for now). Idle temps stayed the same. Under load, stock HSF ran 42C, the Noctua runs 32C. Both fans were run at max (gonna play with BIOS settings if and when I try to overclock) and the Noctua is quieter (but not silent, obviously,...
Pros: My first Noctua HSF. I wish they would make water coolers. I need water cooling on my primary desktop, but would love to run all Noctua coolers in all of my systems, based on my experience with this one alone. The packaging probably adds to the price of the unit, but when you open the box, you wi...
Cons: Price. But you get what you pay for. Certainly not worth knocking an egg off.
