Summary: Wow. The next time I hear a jet engine, I will be in an airplane. My Dell XPS 9100 was so noisy I could not sleep in the same room with the computer on. It was bothersome while doing work or watching movies.
Summary: I know its Noctua's thing to have the brown scheme, but I dig it. More of a statement than a clash of colors.
Pros: Very quiet and keeps my CPU cool. This thing get a lot of weird looks seeing how its flat on the CPU instead of being on its side like most aftermarket coolers, but its a beast. I bought it for a mid-tower case and it fits great, works great. Would buy for another system in a heartbeat.
Cons: Had some RAM clearance issues for a bit, but I'll chalk that up to my MOBO layout.
Summary: Before I had a Zalman cooler installed with idle temps in the low 20's which is pretty good but under load my temps would reach into the upper 60's. With this cooler my idle temp gets down to 8 degrees and the max temp under load are in the mid 40's. What a huge difference. It is also very quiet.
Summary: This is the first Noctua product I have purchased and I'm never recommending another over it (Unless someone literally can't afford it). Worth the money.
Pros: This thing is perfect. It isn't too large but is still a major improvement over the stock cooler. It's a Noctua, high quality, performance, and easy installation is what this thing is about. It is easier than the stock intel cooler to install. Did I mention quiet? It is. Don't wait any longer. If...
Cons: None. If you do your homework, make sure this fits in your case / on your mobo. Had only one option to install this without blocking my mini ATX boards PCIE slot and the other was hitting my ram.
Summary: ---The Unit and It's Box Contents--- This is an excellent little cooler. Noctua is famous for their build quality and included peripherals, and this kit is no exception. Inside the box you receive the unit itself, a HUGE tube of thermal compound, mounting hardware, fan cable extenders (2 small, 1...
Summary: This cooler is compact, low-profile, and keeps my CPU running much cooler than the stock cooler. Comes with a Y-splitter fan cable adapter, extension, and dampening cables. Easy to install and no complaints!
Summary: Slotted this into an older socket 775 HTPC. My main complaint previously was that during the quiet scenes in movies I could hear my HTPC. I want to hear the movie, not my computer. Put this big puppy in, now I can't even tell if the HTPC is running.
