Summary: Yes, Yes this fan is quiet and does keep my AMD 8320 a little cooler, at about 95 Fahrenheit. Before it was running at 110. I receive my cooler quicker than I thought and the quality is fantastic!!
Summary: I have several of these purchased about 2 years apart. Never had any issues and could have just re-used the original one, but you know, when you rebuild, you want that CPU cooler to shine. Don't steer towards the fancy and gaudy, they all tend to be sub-par. With the small fan at the bottom, they have perfected this design and provided nearly universal use as long as you keep all the part that come with it and instructions, lol.
Summary: I love this, its bigger than I imagined and looks like an engine from the right angle. You can use one or two fans and the detach easily without bending anything, EVERYTHING is included from thermal paste to and and intel mounting gear they even include a Noutica metal sticker to attach to your case or whatever. Defenitly Recommend it, I personally think its cooler than liquid cooling. But I thing I will liquid cool my GPU.
Summary: I was using the stock air cooler on an i5 3750k IvyBridge CPU, and not only is it silent but it runs very cool. Using this on a Z77 Sabretooth Asus MB, mounted on in a Corsair 540 and temps stay around 30 degrees C under a pretty decent load.
Summary: Works well, very quiet, fits a media PC case unlike the other one I bought for a different PC. Did have to remove some small side fans above the back I/O panel in the media PC case because there wasn't enough clearance with them installed.
Summary: Very simple install on an AMD motherboard, came with all the required parts and very quiet. I didn't have a need for the low-power adapters and running with the single fan mode is more than sufficient so far.
Summary: My first impression came when the box arrived at the door. Such a big box for a CPU cooler, and even when I opened the Amazon box, I was surprised at the size of the manufacturer's packaging. As I broke into the box, and went through the installation process, the common theme was a highly professional product, from documentation, to mounting hardware, to packaging materials, to the fan and heatsink itself.
