An Exceptional product for Exceptional cooling

Wade A., Newegg

  • Pros: This heat sink can keep my 5820k cool at 4.5ghz up from 3.3 and its also pretty quiet
  • Cons: Its really huge, so huge it blocks the RAM slots and has some trouble fitting with certain RAM types. Their site has a guide for all the different types of RAM so make sure you check it.

massive..

Kyle R., Newegg
  • Summary: fits my THOR case by rosewill.. but barely fits over my corsair vengeance memory I'm does go over my whole ram expansion slots completely so I would have to remove in order to add more ram. and the clearance on my ram is approx. 1-2 mm which give little wiggle room.
  • Pros: first day opening and I was pleased to see how bug this thing was and that it should have no issue keeping my CPU cool.
  • Cons: looks to be a bit of a pain to install on top of that it does not give exact instructions and mounting spots for all chipsets..

Great cooling, Simple setup

Anonymous, Newegg
1 April 2016
  • Summary: Have recommended it to some friends and recommend it to anyone looking for a solid quiet air cooler
  • Pros: It's simple for a first time builder like myself and you can move the fan on the outside up to support high profile ram like Corsair Vengeance, just make sure your side panel is far enough away and quiet
  • Cons: Bulky, if your pci slots are closer to the socket it can be difficult to remove the graphics card

Its Power, quietness and overkill cooling amuses me. I love it!!!

1 April 2016
  • Summary: I would recommend this to anyone that likes overclocking over 4.2 Ghz+ or is very skeptical about temperatures.
  • Pros: Keeps my i5 6600k @1.3v (4.4Ghz) at about 14-16 degrees at idle, 30 degrees in Dolphin Emulator (CPU intensive Emulator) and it wont even touch 50 degrees celsius (Hovers around 45 and 48 degrees) when at full load with Prime95.
  • Cons: Absolutely Nothing!

Super quiet and effective CPU fan

George C., Newegg
19 March 2016
  • Summary: Mounted on an ASUS Z97 Pro-Gamer with a i7-4790k. I purchased this unit elsewhere, as I had forgotten to get a cooling unit when putting together my order for parts for a build.
  • Pros: This thing is unbelievably quiet, coming off a ZALMAN CNPS9700 in my last build it was a huge bonus. I found mounting this much easier, mostly due to the position of the screws being fairly accessible. The screws are also permanently fixed to the cooler's body and mounted on springs to help with ...
  • Cons: None so far, I guess it'd be nice if the fin/body was copper instead.

  • Summary: My Rig CPU: Intel Core i7-6700K 8M Skylake Quad-Core 4.0 GHz .. MB: Gigabyte Z170 Gaming 7 Bios F5 MEM: G.SKILL Ripjaws V Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) 3200 Mhz PSU: EVGA 220-G2-0850-XR 80 PLUS GOLD 850 W Air Cooler: Noctua NH-D14 120mm & 140mm SSO CPU Cooler GPU: MSI GeForce GTX 980 Ti GAMING 6G HD:...
  • Pros: -Really well made, you can see it, this is quality -Nice design -Really easy to install, -REALLY EFFICENT, at idle at 4.4 Ghz it 22-23 deg C and with full load (Prime95, OCCT, Aida 64, X264) it never pass the 55 deg C -I'm really happy with Noctua product -Quiet even if 1 fan work at full speed
  • Cons: -A little bit disappointed because the fans are not PWM, and my major CPU fan always turn at full speed, you need to add a cable extension to reduce the speed
