Summary: Make sure you know just how large this thing is. You'll need a huge case to fit it, and good clearance on your motherboard. Only able to use it temporarily as it blocks half of my DIMM slots, but keeps the CPU cool and is quiet.
Summary: I started researching a new heatsink when the liquid cooling system that was installed by Ibuypower started to give out. When I found this on Amazon I went to their website to check compatibility. I was excited when The little Check mark showed up for my AM3+ Motherboard. I received this very quickly after ordering it (thanks Prime) and immediately took apart my system to install it.
Cooler blocks PCIe slot. Only 3 pins for both fans.

Summary: I got this for moderate OC my 3770K without messing with water cooling. Overall this is good product till it get to your specific Motherboard. Pros: - quiet as air cooling can get, compete with water cooling till H80 without messing with water and risking water pump stop is a year or two.
Summary: good heatsink if you have the right motherboard. just watch for how close your ram slots and pcie slots are to your cpu
Pros: this is a big cooler that allows lots of airflow with the 2 fans and went together real easy
Cons: on my asus sabertooth x79 it went in good but its blocking some of my memory slots if u have memory with heat spreaders. have not tried a regular memory stick but it looks like it would fit but i would have to take the heatsink out. also blocks the pcie slot on it.
Summary: My expectations are pretty realistic when it comes to products that either claim to be "silent" or are rated that way in reviews. Over the years I've owned and installed products like stock coolers from Intel and AMD, plus many aftermarket units from the likes of Zalman and Scythe. This isn't my first time at the CPU-cooling rodeo. My current primary PC has had the stock Intel cooler on an i7 2600K (not overclocked) for many months.
Summary: This thing is too freaking big... I put this in a Corsair 600t and it's almost touching the top case fan. The heatsink alone is hovering over the first two RAM slots, and with the additional fan, ALL the RAM slots are covered. So to add or replace ram I'd have to disassemble the unit. Haven't actually tested it yet, as this is for a build that's in progress.
