these fans really are quietly awesome...

trainwreck, Amazon
26 September 2013
  • Summary: i've been wanting these fans for over a year but just didn't have the $50 lying around for these legendary austrian fans. i recently moved and said screw it and bought them since i had to undo my theater system anyways. i also hooked up my thermal ir controller switch so the fans would only come on as needed. what an awesome combo. i ran my previous cooler guys fans at low speed 24/7 and they were barely audible when nothing was going on.

  • Summary: Works well. This fan blade design works best in open spaces, or cases with a lot of open air ventilation.

Awesome

Jon Fisher, Amazon
1 May 2013
  • Summary: Product is as described. Shipped promptly. AND, packed well. Noctua fans are well worth the money. After installing these fans, the quality inspired me to buy a noctua cpu heatsink as well. They are twice or more the price of competitor's product, but you will get twice or more the performance from fans and heatsinks.

Another great Noctua product

savvas korakas, Amazon
19 March 2013
  • Summary: This company is really remarkable. The packaging is luxurious and includes everything you would need to run full speed, low speed, molex or 3 pin. Of course you would expect nothing less from Noctua and their price tags, but still if you're looking to cool your pc case with something that will last and make sure it gets the job done...then this is it.

Worth the price!

Darren, Amazon
10 March 2013
  • Summary: I had some Enermax Magmas (great but just not quiet) in a server but switched to these for the noise. I've achieved the same temperatures without needing to use my fan controller to manually adjust the fan speed because I can trust that these fans do their job without hearing them. They are really worth the price.

Pretty Good as case fans

Anthony montuori, Amazon
9 February 2013
  • Summary: From what I can tell these are designed as case fans. Not as quiet as you'd think when they're have a grill or mesh in front of them, but at full speed that's to be expected. I am running them at half speed and they do their job at almost complete silence.

Excellent Quite Fan

BlueCar, Amazon
8 January 2013
  • Summary: This is my 3rd Noctua fan. This is equally quite as others. I installed on my ReadyNAS. It greatly reduce fan noise. Most of noise is from 6 Seagate Drives now. Installation is very easy and it comes with mounting screws. Also it has 2 low pass filters which I don't need to use. This fan has a lower RPM than stock fan and able to keep the NAS equally cool.

Great fan

tkish7, Amazon
31 December 2012
  • Summary: This fan is so quiet and it moves a ton of air. I like the color, but some people don't. If your buying this fan make sure you know it is designed to be a case fan and not a heat sink fan.
