Pros: I've built more than 100 computers for myself, family and friends over the years and Noctua makes the best fans I've ever used. I love that you can fit this 140mm fan into many places where only a 120mm would fit.
Cons: Color is a con for some, but I prefer quality and quiet to flashiness. Since they are inside the case I don't spend that much time looking at them anyway, but since I have an Asus Sabertooth motherboard the fans actually match quite nicely for me.
Summary: Solid fan, Added this to my Noctua NH-D14 CPU cooler after removing the other 120mm that came with it. With matching 140mm fans on the cooler, it looks fantastic. Only thing to look out for is the size of your RAM DIMMS with this setup and how high the fans need to be mounted . Regarding the fan, it looks good, works good, and blows a ton of air through the cooler to keep temperatures down. Very Quiet. Noctua FTW, now a huge fan... Hehe.
Pros: - Solid Fan, - Quiet, - Looks are far better than expected
Cons: - Cost, but worth it to those that buy them.
Summary: Installed it on the back of my Fractal Design R4 case. Fits perfect using the provided rubber plugs as cushion between metal. I had to play with it a little to figure out the best way to secure the fan instead of using the provided metal screws. Just make sure you push the brown rubber plugs in all the way and pull it on the back to hold the fan in place. The fan is quiet and does a good job exhausting the hot air out of the system.
Summary: I got 2 of these fans to replace the fans in my CM Storm laptop cooler. The fans that come with it are very loud an have a ton of vibration. These Noctua are God sent. No noise and no vibration, can't even tell they are on. They cool almost the same as the 2400rpm fans that came with the CM Storm. The Nactua are running at 1200rpm.
Not used as a computer cooling fan but very pleased with performance.

Summary: These fans (3) were purchased to improve ventilation of an electrical cabinet and a berth area in a cruising boat. Since they operate on 12 volts and use very little power I thought they would be ideal for this application. A pair of custom panels were created to mount the fans and they have been installed and wired through a 12 volt DC timer. This allows the fans to be activated at various times throughout the day when I am not at the boat.
Summary: This fan is awesome! I built a silent beast with the help of Noctua. I used this as my window fan, and it pulls the heat away from my video card like nobody's business. I use the low noise adapter, and it still pushes plenty of air while being completely silent. While playing games at max with a 660TI at full load, this fan still keeps up with the cooling even with the low noise adapter installed. I have a Noctua for my CPU cooling fan as well.
