Summary: No really it the best ever. I have tried so many fans which say they are quiest but it's not this quiet. It built well and still going after a year. Just need occasional cleaning which you should be doing. Very satisfied and worth the extra money.
Summary: I replaced a Phenom II X6 1100T with an FX-8350 and noticed immediately that my old cooling profile (a Corsair H80 with two Enermax T.B. Silence fans in push/pull) wasn't cutting it. During my research I found that a 5 to 10 C temperature spike was pretty common when comparing these two processors necessitating a beefier cooling solution. Even though my old T.B.
Summary: I used this fan to replace the fan on my Coolermaster Evo t4 (i believe this is its name) cpu cooler, and if I could give a product more than 5 stars I would. Even overclocked, with the fan churning, this fan does not make a sound. It is actually ridiculous how silent this fan is.
Summary: I bought 3 of those fans for my Norco RPC-4224 and they are doing their job. I would not say they are that quiet but it's not that bad. The noise level of my server with those and 2 Noctua 80mm is quite low.
Summary: well, not quite dead quiet but pretty much whisper quiet. I added two of these to an HTPC that I could previously hear from 20 feet away in any direction, now I have to look closely to verify if its even on...I dont bother with temp probes and whatnot anymore but my mobo internal temp readings are exactly the same as previously with the louder antec fans these replaced.
Summary: This fan is amazing. On low speeds you can't even hear it. I replaced all my system fans and it made a major difference. I also have a custom fan controller driven by software controlling my fans.
