Conclusion: In the markets of laptop cooling, Nexus TDD-9000 is a bit of a weird product. I don’t know if it can accomplish the tasks it is meant to be. Even though we saw some temperature drops in general when using the TDD-9000, it is nowhere near the amounts Nexus said it would. Priced around 20€ TDD-9000 doesn’t cost that much, so if you want to have a portable laptop cooler this might be your thing.
Conclusion: To conclude, I like the innovative idea of the TDD-9000 with its “proven" claims and ability to cool your laptop in an eco-friendly manner. However, with the poor results I witnessed, this power-less technology isn’t going to win me over. However, results maybe very different with a bottom-fan mounted notebook. We do not have one available though and so cannot prove this. But for £14, it may be worth a try.
