These are great fans within that compromised price between the $8 fans ...

Brian Fuller, Amazon
10 January 2015
  • Summary: These are great fans within that compromised price between the $8 fans not worth buying and the $23 Noctuas that can get expensive when you need 2-4 for a full pc case. The black and white one work well in almost any color scheme and they are really quiet.

Too loud!

Richard G., Newegg
28 June 2014
  • Pros: I know PWM's get loud, but this is a whole other ballpark in the noise ratio! CFM is nice but the noise is unbearable, threw it out the window without remorse.
  • Cons: I want my money back! LOL!

Nice Fan

Richard M., Newegg
10 May 2014
  • Summary: Shipped with Newegg saver and it took ten days to arrive. I was beginning to think FedEx lost them. Finally they arrived and I could finish my build.
  • Pros: Clear with 4 holes for LED's if you want to light it up. Super easy to install, rubber mounts are good quality and don't break even when really stretching them. Cable is sleeved in mesh and has heat shrink on both ends. Fan runs smooth @ 500 ~ 2000 RPM and is silent.
  • Cons: Can't add anything here. Well Done Nexus!

NG at Low Speed

Charles L., Newegg
28 December 2013
  • Summary: I seem to remember there may have been a setting in Speedfan that got rid of the noise, but I stopped using Speedfan and gave up on this fan long ago. Lots of people seem to like this fan so maybe it is just not compatible with the pwm circuit on my mobo (ga-ex38-ds4), although I've got another...
  • Pros: Moves air
  • Cons: Mine has the chirping sound at low speed like MrPogi's review states below. Mine is running at around 800-900 rpm. I guess the sound goes away at higher speeds like MrPogi indicated, but that doesn't do me any good when I'm using very little system resources surfing/emailing/etc and the bios choo...

Nexus Real Silent 120mm FAN

ISAAC, Amazon
25 September 2013
  • Summary: These fans are 'really' silent and reliable. I have installed them in multiple computers and use them for the computer case and the CPU heatsink cooler. It is easy to see why "[...] uses them as the baseline reference for comparison with all computer fans.

silent and cools

review mang, Amazon
1 August 2013
  • Summary: i can only hear the fan if my head is less than 1 foot away from the fan. it doesnt move tons of air, but it moves enough for what i need. if i needed more silent fans, i'd gladly get these again. edit: wasn't sure how to use the anti vibration mounts, here's what i did.
