Summary: Put this fan in a pc that was on almost 24-7. Whenever the pc was shut down and turned back on, the fan got louder and louder and louder. I mean you can hear the fan from a room down the hallway loud! Bottom line, if your replacing or buying a new fan spend a few extra bucks and get a good fan.
Summary: I have a case that takes 7 fans. These are the best fans I have used so far in terms of reliability and quietness over THE LONG TERM. Also, ball bearing fans can be mounted horizontally without fear of them failing, unlike sleeve bearing fans, which really only mount vertically.
Summary: It plugged right in and started working. My only complaint, and it is very minor, is the connector. My case has a LOT of fans. The fans that came with it had connectors that you could daisy chain together. I realize this was probably a custom design, which is I rate it as a minor issue.

Summary: These fans are nice and quite, and seem to be working well. Just wish the packaging included screws, AND those rubber sound dampers. Good thing I had extras because the rubber mounts aren't good in most applications.
Summary: I got this to replace an Azza case blowhole fan that was very noisy due to it being a sleeve-bearing fan. This fan is of top quality with rubber mounting, grill and ball-bearing. I had to remove the grill to save space between this and the CPU heat sink and RAM.
