Summary: You can't beat the price ($00.01 + about $5.00 for shipping & handling. It works fine. I still have & use an older computer with XP. on it ; the computer is about 10 years old, and I've had to replace all of the fans. I'm using this fan to exhaust heat from inside the case.
Summary: I recently rebuilt my desktop and my old fan was - well in a past rebuild I'd cut the wires to splice into a different power source since that MB didn't have a dedicated plug. so instead of jerry rigging again I decided to buy a new one. You really can't go wrong for this price.
Summary: as usual the parts were reliable , i ordered 2 of these for just in case which was good the wiring under the fan cowl came off , my suggestion is if you need this product it will never hurt to get one extra , they are cheap to buy and having a replacement is always good for one who does pc repair and build on the side . ps: i was a little rough with the one that broke , not terribly but enough to cause the break .
Summary: I bought two of these for a micro atx/mini itx build, that I was doing. They work perfectly after about a week of constant running they haven't hiccup'd yet and provide good air flow in the small case.
Summary: All fans are pretty much the same. I picked this one because of the price and the customer ratings. Pulling it from the box I immediately noticed the cord. It had the usual 3 and 4 pin plugs, but it also had a full cloth covering over the wires.and it was sealed at both ends. This really protects the wires and was unexpected in this price range. Fan runs quietly and blows air as it should.
