Summary: I have both the black & a blue (frame color) models. The blue is more of a steel gray-blue color than is usually shown in the product descriptions.
Pros: Used in a high-end workstation with lots of hot ECC RAM. A fan is essential to keep the memory alive and functioning. This is a very attractive solution. Very well constructed, fans reversible, high air flow, quiet. Clips easily onto RAM.
Cons: Wish it came in a larger (92 mm) fan size to cover a bigger memory bank.
Summary: Running for over a year now.Quiet,effective. I'm a older guy and could do without the lights. But they work so I don't mind. Keeps my G.Skill DDR3 PC3-17000 RipjawsZ nice and cool. I was leery in purchasing these.Figured they were junk like a lot of this type of product. But I have been overly pleased with them as they have not made a single sound and have never slowed down.
Summary: I have an AIO liquid cooling system that I had set up with the tubes going over the ram. I simply flipped the AIO around to solve the conflict -- but depending on your system that may not work.
Pros: Sturdy Easy to put together and install
Cons: If you've got a heatsink (liquid cool or air) that overlaps your ram, this will get in the way and you won't be able to use it direct over your ram.
Summary: This thing is just simply cool. its straight eye candy for your computer, and provides extra cooling to the memory. The fans are extremely quiet, and the LED is not too bright (in my opinion). It fits a little bit awkward into the case and with my AIO water cooling kit, it sits a little bit weird. I feel the clamps could be a little bit easier to put on, and a little bit more secure (hence the minus 1 star).
Summary: The unit is too large to mount correctly in my case. I have a Corsair H100 and the hoses hit the edge of the mounting bracket. I had it running before I switch CPU coolers and the product worked well. The led brightness can be controlled with the fan speed, which is nice.
