Awesome fans

Anonymous, Newegg
9 August 2010
  • Summary: Be careful with your fan grill choice. The lian li grill I have cuts down on the air flow I just have to get a different one. I would tell people to buy these, they really are that good.
  • Pros: They move a decent amount of air. I like that there is an option to turn the LED's off on the fans. That will be helpful if I get a fan controller so that they don't look dumb when they dim.
  • Cons: I bought 6 of these. I must have gotten mixed batches because the whites are different on the fans. I just put the ones that were close to the same color next to one another and they wash each other out.

Nice and Quiet

Thomas M., Newegg
1 April 2010
  • Summary: There are two of these in a server with quad-core Socket F processors. The CPUs have 1U heatsinks (no fans) relying on the case fans to move air through for cooling. It's perfectly fine even when at 100% CPU usage for extended periods of time. A quiet server. Imagine that.
  • Pros: The LED lighting has an on/off switch. The packaging does not require the jaws of life to open. It's very easy. It is very quiet and provides adequate cooling. PWM control.
  • Cons: There are none that I have found.

pretty good...

Michael M., Newegg
19 January 2010
  • Summary: I'm debating on buying another one but this next one would be for a costume notebook cooler I'm making
  • Pros: I pretty much like everything about it. The white sleeve on the cables is a nice feature as well as the on off switch for the white LEDs... It's extremely quite and pushes a good amount of air. The rubber connectors are also a nice touch but for the amount of noise and vibration this fan makes it...
  • Cons: none... free would always be nice =P

Good fan

Alexander C., Newegg
18 August 2009
  • Summary: Great fan! One of the best.
  • Pros: Quiet and has a switch to turn off the stupid led's. Speeds up on it's own for heat! Got 3 of these in the case and can't hear a thing.
  • Cons: none

Beautiful

James K., Newegg
1 August 2009
  • Summary: Included rubber silencing mounts and screws don't fit through the holes on my TT Armor...broke one in half trying to pull it through.
  • Pros: Very quiet, LED lights not superbright, good airflow. Replaced all my TT Armor 120 fans with them...big improvement. Loudest noises in my case are now the video cards and hard drives.
  • Cons: Makes a quiet (but piercing) buzzing sound when not at full power, had to use Molex adapters to fix it...motherboard would not provide enough voltage through headers.

in response

  • Summary: Not doing much at max pwm, if the molex adapter is used, airflow is mediocre. Thanks for the input.
  • Pros: Their customer service apparently does care!
  • Cons: N/A

I don't think so

Brian B., Newegg
30 June 2009
  • Summary: I can't believe that people actually said this fan has good flow! WRONG!
  • Pros: Nice LEDs, very classy look.
  • Cons: Doesn't move air! The stylish laser cut writing on the side of the fan lets most of the air go right out, not in the intended direction. Price is far from right.

Very Quiet Fan Rebate is Scam

kevin s., Newegg
8 April 2009
  • Summary: Black-list Enemax. 5 months & no rebate as promised. These would fly off the shelves if not for the price and rebate scam.
  • Pros: I've used many fans, even ones that were hyped by bogus reviews that would claim ball-bearings are quiet. This fan IS quiet. Good bearings. Easy cleaning. Great for exhaust or general cooling.
  • Cons: Not for radiators. Price a little steep for a fan.

Overpriced

Steven S., Newegg
3 April 2009
  • Summary: I'm buying the less expensive 120mm PWM fans now.
  • Pros: Quiet PWM fan that provides reasonable airflow. There's a small switch to turn the LED's on/off. Cable is nicely wrapped.
  • Cons: Have two of these fans in use. One is running side by side with another 120mm PWM fan that cost half as much. Can't tell any difference in airflow or noise.

Very Impressed

Donald H., Newegg
10 January 2009
  • Summary: Please use good ball bearing or liquid bearing fans!! There are very expensive extremely quiet sleeve bearings fans out there (junk), and they go down hill incredibly fast, and may freeze up in heated environs in <yr (speaking from experience). (Get their Magma for hot exhaust.)
  • Pros: This is as good as it gets for air flow/db; easy blade removal for cleaning, and good bearing durability in heat has it challenge the S-Flex for tops on my list. This white looks INCREDIBLY CLASSY in my wife's new silver case! It is practically dead quiet at full tilt except for the air. Ideal fo...
  • Cons: Enermax, please make in a red and yellow in this same model. They make a blue Everest, which has no guts, made to be ultra quite with a thermistor turn turn down even more with temp. The Cluster is just as quiet at same RPM.
