Pros: Keeps it cool. Easier to install than some of my previous coolers I have installed even though it is bigger than most of them. Quiet for its size. Included is some CPU paste if you need it. I bought this because CPU was running hot and the stock cooler did not sit on the CPU well (I could actually move it with my hand with no trouble)
Cons: huge (nothing can be done about that really), putting in the bolt between the outside of the case and between the heat sink was a pain. Other than that this is a great cooler. Again I gave it 5 stars because even though that bolt is a pain, it is easier to install than some smaller ones
Summary: Note that this will fit the newer Intel LGA 2011-v3 socket. Follow the included instructions for installing it on LGA 2011 socket. If you are concerned about the size take a look at the dimensions in the product specifications and measure inside your case (particularly height). Installed this in a Cooler Master HAF 932 and it fits fine without removing any of the case's included fans.
Pros: Fan is VERY quiet even when it speeds up when the CPU is under load. CPU temp never goes above 35C. Easy to install.
Summary: It is large. I know I should not have been worried considering I have an Antec 1200 case, but I could not find any other reviews regarding if people had trouble with it. I can assure you that this fan will fit perfectly inside the 1200. Another thought that at first concerned me was if the fans would interfere with ram slot 1 on motherboards.
Pros: There is so much that has already been stated in the positive reviews regarding this product it is hard to find something that has not already been said. With that being said, this is by far the best choice in the 30-40 dollar price range if you are looking to replace your stock CPU cooler. Enermax does an amazing job packaging the product safely and the instructions as well as installation are very simple. The supplied thermal compound is sufficient and provided enou...
Cons: Honestly there is nothing bad to say about this cooler in this price range.
Summary: I was amazed at this thing when I opened the box from Newegg. It is a massive cooler and barely fit the case. It was put on an AMD processor that was overclocked to the max and it cooled it down to just above the mid range supported by the chip maker. Since it has the capability to add a second fan, if necessary, I thought it would e a good fail safe unit. As it turned out, I only needed the single fan.
Pros: It does its job well and can e upgraded to dual fans, if necessary.
Cons: This thing is HUGE! I put it in a mini tower and it was a close fit!
Summary: I purchased two of these to use in a push/pull configuration on my server turned gaming rig. By using the backplates from the previous heatsinks and making some custom mounting brackets I was able to mount these on a socket 771 system. MUCH quieter than the original coolers and they do much better as well. Load temps are way down which is critical as the server CPU's don't take heat well at all. Very pleased with this product.
Pros: Quiet, lots of surface area to dissipate heat, fans move a decent amount of air. Dropped my CPU temps by 2-3 degrees C at idle and 10-15 C under load.
Cons: Very big. I have a Rosewill Blackhawk Ultra super tower so it isn't really an issue, however, the heatpipes do just barely touch the side panel fan frame. I also had to measure to make sure everything would fit around other components on the motherboard. Also the heatpipes aren't flush with the sides of the aluminum base which leaves small gaps. Hasn't been an issue so far though. Thermal paste most likely filled the spaces.
Summary: Used this bad boy in my first build cooling an AMD A10-6800k. I would have to say that this device went above and beyond the call of duty when it managed to keep the CPU under critical temperatures even after I mistakenly forgot to remove the plastic cover from the contact area before I installed it. The A10 didnt even need to throttle down to protect itself. After I corrected my tremendous mistake the unit performed leaps and bounds ahead of any sort of stock cooler.
Pros: This is a big, effective cooler. Don't expect miracles, but this is a must if you need some peace of mind in terms of temps. If you need some space filled in your case, this cooler will definitely do that. The option of installing a push-pull configuration is a plus, too.
Cons: Again, this is cooler is pretty huge. It only fits in my NZXT Source 210 with the tips of the heatpipes resting against the case window.
Summary: As nearly every other review has mentioned: this thing is gigantic. I'd figured I'd be fine with my full-size tower case but it turns out that my case just isn't "tall" enough for this guy, alas! Be sure to measure it out and compare versus the specs. The cooler itself looked extremely solid and well-made.
Pros: Real solid-feeling construction, looked well-made
