Summary: I removed 1 egg because of the push clips which are very flimsy other then that awesome cooler and great price.
Pros: I have this cooler now for 6 months on the i7 950Ghz it replaced the stock cooler temps under heavy load went from 57 degree to 41 celsius recommend this to anyone with older cases without a cut out on case.
Cons: None so far just a word of caution be careful with the push clips make sure you line them up with the hole in M/Board correct because its plastic it can bend and break very easy.
Summary: I was looking to lower the temps on my budget gaming rig. During stress tests, core temperatures would surpass 80 C. Although this would not be a problem during normal use, I wanted a lower maximum for peace of mind.
Pros: Good price, quiet noise, short height (for itx cases), good performance
Cons: Push pins not as secure as mounting to a backplate
Summary: Really i installed it safe and sound but it doesnt mean a guaranteed success to everyone. There are some other coolers out there but this one is one of the best ones for its price.
Pros: Just installed this cooler in my rig 2 days ago (AMD build) and blew my mind on how good it can cool my FX-6300. At idle it goes as low as 12 degrees celsius and overclocking with this bad boy was an easy task. The temps while overclocked on load never went as high as 50 degrees celsius. Noise le...
Cons: Alright, i only have 1 con about the whole product itself. it was that the AMD kit for installation was really sketchy. I had to put pressure to actually put the mounts. IF YOU'RE WORRIED ABOUT BREAKING YOUR AMD CPU AND MOTHERBOARD WITH PRESSURE DO NOT BUY THIS! The kit for Intel is a pushpin so ...
Summary: Installing it was a bit tricky, the Intel Bracket didn't seem to want to lock down. Realize the lock position on the bracket where in the other side (Different from their instructed) Overall great Cooler and Pre paste pattern was nice and speard out.
Pros: Big Fan ( Doesn't need to spin so much) Doesn't feel or look cheap Light Weight Came Pre-Paste
Summary: This solved an overheating problem at a low cost and added nothing to the noise of my system, but a risky design demands careful installation.
Pros: Keeps my 105W TDP quad-core CPU sufficiently cool. Nearly silent at full operation. As easy to install as any cooler. Comes with the perfect amount of thermal paste pre-applied.
Cons: The fins collided with the installed RAM on my motherboard. I mounted it "sideways" to avoid this, having the fan exhaust directed upward, which doesn't seem to be a problem in my upright tower enclosure. Also, the brackets are situated beneath the heatsink block, meaning the screws that attach t...
Summary: Pros: Looks. Very low noise.(even at load) Big 120 mm fan Cons: Bit hard to install on am3 chipset. } This cooler may not be the best choice for the extreme overclocking enthusiast, but if you want a quiet CPU cooler that fits in your budget, the Gammaxx 300 is a good option.
