Better than air but not by much.

TheSocialHermit, Overclock
5 August 2012
  • Excerpt: I got this cooler from a guy at a LAN event I went to. He had been trying to get rid of it for a while now and it had just been sitting around in a box not doing anything but collecting dust. After chatting with him for a while and explaining my interest in water cooling but lacking any real funds to do so, he gave it to me since he would rather it have some use instead of doing nothing.

Corsair CPU Cooler H70

Eagle128, Amazon
16 April 2012
  • Summary: I would have given this product a 5 star last week, but I turned on my overclocked Intel 2600K system this morning and after Windows booted was greeted with alarms warning me that the processor was over temp and then my ASUS Sabertoth motherboard shut the system down. I took off the side panels of my Silverstone RV03 and verified that the pump wasn't running on the H70. Tried a different plug on the motherboard and still no go.

Does not fit as advertised

J. Nelson, Amazon
6 April 2012
  • Summary: The H70 Core mount for the Intel LGA 1155 is not matching the holes on the motherboard. I checked and the holes are correct on the motherboard to support other LGA 1155 fans without an issue. So the actual mount included in the H70 Core does not match the Intel four hole loaction for Intel 1155. According to the included instructions it is suppose to support this product with one of the mounts included.

FALSE ADVERTISING

CORSAIR DISSAPOINTMENT, Amazon
31 January 2012
  • Summary: This product is not an H70 core, it is a pump from an H70 but not an H70 radiator. I have previously purchased a complete H70 for comparison. The radiator dimensions on the box are for an H70 and are not the dimensions of the enclosed radiator, the enclosed radiator is smaller. After an email song and dance with the ram guy (Corsair) which was ethically repugnant, they finally admitted that the radiator was smaller than advertised and said the incorrect dimension was a...

17 January 2012

My Corsair H-70 leaked and destroyed my high end motherboard.

Eagleswings "Soarwitheagles", Amazon
16 January 2012
  • Summary: At first appearance, I was extremely excited about purchasing a Corsair H-70 Liquid CPU cooler. I totally liked the idea of how a massive CPU air cooler would no longer restrict the overall air flow in my new CM HAF 932. Also, just the thought of much less weight on my motherboard was very attractive to me. Finally, when I read the benchmarks on the Corsair H-70, and how it did a fairly good job of cooling, I was sold on it.

CORSAIR Hydro H70 CWCH70 120mm High Performance CPU Cooler

Enid, pricebat.ca
28 June 2013
  • Excerpt: Enables significantly space for airflow and operate inside my computer system case. Price tag was reasonable. Inside two months of installing my Corsair H70, it began to leak terribly. My mobo died and I noticed what appeared to be water stains on the mobo. I'll never use a Corsair water cooling product ever again. They deeply violated my trust. Corsair tech support left me asking yourself what to do for about four weeks.

CORSAIR Hydro H70 CWCH70 120mm High Performance CPU Cooler

Carlito, pricebat.ca
27 January 2013
  • Excerpt: Looks cool. Fits LGA 1155. Not as well hard to install. Cools an OC'd Intel 2600K extremely effectively. I seriously wanted this program to be quiet. Plugged it into my technique and was horrified by how loud the fan are. The three pin fan connectors don't play properly with the 4 pin CPU and Chassis Fan connections on my ASUS P8P67 Deluxe. The fans scream at 1500 rpm. Rolled more than and spent and extra fifity dollars on two four pin PWM fans.
