Almost perfect.

  • Summary: This cooler is pretty great. The pump in damn near dead silent. The included fan... sounds like a jet engine. It rattles around and hums like you did it dirty. Great little cooler, invest in a better fan.

Good for casual usuer

Daniel Rice, Amazon

  • Summary: I had issues with maintaining temps with this item. I put a heavy workload on my processor and was unable to keep a satisfactory temperature. It would be perfect for the casual gamer but I had to return it and ordered the H100i and additional fans for my chassis. Hoping that one works to expectations.

This is an ok product...

  • Summary: But look further past the h55, for an extra $10 or so you get SO MUCH MORE out of the h60. Initially I had purchased an h55 for my dedicated computer and H60 for gaming rig, they performed so different that I ended up returning the H55 for another H60, also this was a deal breaker specially if you are a person who is always changing computer parts, the H55 unit on "AMD" platform the motherboard needs to be completely removed from the chassis case in order to be mounted,...

Hit and Miss/Good but no cigar

  • Summary: This is my first watercooler so I didn't know on much to look for!! I like the look of it and how compact it is, it started cooling very well but now it i gets really loud and temperatures are higher than they where when I bought it. I have a i5 2500k and Asus p8 Z77 V-LX motherboard with the CPU at 5.0Ghz which it was at 30-40 degrees but now at idle i get up to 50 which is strange, even clocked at 4.5Ghz my temps weren't that much lower.

not bad

  • Summary: the water cooler as a whole is great, it does exactly what it says on the tin. the problem i had with this component was the fact that it says its compatible with my motherboard (asus Z87-pro) but when securing this device to the board i found that i could only secure it with 3/4 screws.

Hydro H55 Good but some issues

M. Widger, Amazon
23 November 2013
  • Summary: Having purchased this cooler, I can echo what others have said about its cooling potential. Although I already had a reasonably good air cooler that kept temps quite low anyway, I saw this and thought it would be an ideal way to get into water cooling. Installation on an Intel 1155 board was a little fiddly as the back bracket doesn't sit square on the motherboard and requires a little bit of pressure to get the retaining screws to pop through the motherboard.

I am sure this is great, but be warned on its size.

Jamie Oliver "Jamie", Amazon

  • Summary: I had the H100 and that was great so lead me to buy the H55 for my micro-ATX build. I have a spare 12cm fan slot, so was chuffed to know I would have a water cooling unit in the PC, as I loved the H100 so much. However, ths radiator over shoots the 12cm fan size by a 2cm if you include both side, maybe a little more. This meant it would not fit in my case. Even if I removed the other case fan, this would not fit in my case.
