Pros: Only one that I found on the marked that has a sensor wire. Brackets have holes in them for side air flow. Brackets are also light weight so they can be manipulated easily. Super quiet even at full 3200 RPM speed.
Summary: YEAH, another great and usefull product. Had lots of Trouble with my old PC. Quadcore and else. Had crashed too often. Never figured why. Almost bought a new PC, gave that Thing a last Chance for my pc and i am amazed!!!!!
Summary: I had bought Corsair's previous model RAM cooler back in 2007 for a desktop PC I built and had a great experience with it, so bought this model for another recent desktop PC build last year (2013) and was not disappointed. It runs well, not overly loud and keeps my RAM very cool.
Summary: Works fine. Simple to install. Just make sure you have enough room. A mini or Micro ATX board just doesn't have enough space between the CPU and memory slots to accommodate this rig and whatever CPU cooling solution you choose unless its a water block.
Summary: This is my third Dominator memory fan device. The other two (3-fan units) are still working (after years of service) in other PCs'. Corsair memory fans maintain their RPM's even after years of 24/7 usage (monitored thru onboard fan header connection).
Summary: I have also experienced the fans occasionally making a high pitched buzzing noise. This usually occurs on cool nights when I have my windows open and the air temp in my room falls below 70 degrees F.
Pros: Easy installation, runs quiet enough in systems where it's necessary (see "Other Thoughts" for more on that). Decided to install this on (then) new LGA1366 build I was doing because I don't have AC and had all six DIMM slots populated (2x triple channel kits). Figured extra airflow would be a goo...
