Looks good, works okay

Protocol49, Amazon
23 October 2014
  • Summary: One fan motor stopped after four months; I got a free replacement, but it makes you wonder....... I only bought it because I wanted the AirFlo Pro LED memory display that fits on top, and I am on the 2nd one of those. My best advice I learned the hard way.

Great until the fans die in both delivered items

August Reid "Opinions are not fact.", Amazon
26 March 2014
  • Summary: These work great, until they don't. I've put several hundred operating hours on these and they just locked up after return/replace expired (by 1 month). Would recommend if the fans were better - might end up replacing the busted ones since the overall design is solid and works well (when the fans...

Missing parts to mount.

Anonymous, Newegg

  • Pros: Nice dual fan mount.
  • Cons: Received it missing the side mounts/brackets to attach on to the ram slot...*sigh* anyway decided to use it to place along the side of the gpu's to get some circulation in the mid and lower slots.

Easy installation

Charles Wong, Amazon
21 April 2013
  • Summary: Installed it the moment i received it. The only problem with it is the fans dun really turn on when I power on my desktop. It needs a push from my fingers to make the fan starts spinning. Likely I will try to change the fans if this continues.....

Fan died

Christopher S., Newegg
26 February 2013
  • Summary: It works, it looks cool, but it has its share of problems. It does make you system noise a little louder.
  • Pros: When it worked, it worked very well. Don't know how effective it is, I bought it for the cool factor. Most RAM don't need active cooling anyway. Looks good with my watercooling setup.
  • Cons: Had the 5 minutes of loud buzzing that other users described and then quieted down. Sometimes if it lasts longer, I hit the side of the case and it quiets down. I can tell one of the motors is dying because its been spinning intermittently and I can smell a burning smell. I'm not going to RMA it....
