Very good air cooler

Habeeb, Amazon
8 September 2013
  • Summary: This cooler is a very good product by corsair. Pros: - Able to accommodate multiple sockets. I have used it with 1366, 1156 and 1155 processors - Bought it at less than half the retail price on amazon - Adjustable cpu fan speed (medium and high) - copper heatpipes - high quality fan - easy to set up - Sufficient cooling capacity Cons - Not as good when compared to other more recognised coolers such as noctua

Works great

  • Summary: I have this in my Antec 900. Although that case is huge, this blocks the side door from closing in my setup if the 120mm fan is installed in the window.

This thing is a beast!

MissileMan, Amazon
28 December 2012
  • Summary: This cooler is huge! It works great, but you need to make sure that you have room for it in your case. Make sure your case has enough side cover clearance. Also, if you have fins on your memory the fan might not fit properly. You may actually have to take a fan off just to get to one of the motherboard pin connectors (depending on your motherboard). All that aside, this thing does a great job of cooling and that's the point!

Great cooler

Robert Hirtz, Amazon
25 September 2012
  • Summary: Installed this unit on an i-4 OC'd to 4ghz. Stock cooler failed. The A50 keeps the proc running at 45C under prime 95. Easy to install. Instructions are vague, but there are videos available on youtube for the novice.

Had to modify but its ok

D. Tennimon, Amazon
15 August 2012
  • Summary: Had to bend the fins up on one side because of my corsair vengeance ram that isn't low profile and has heat sink fins that make it twice as high as standard ram. an oversight for the corsair in my opinion. also had to remove one corner of the fan cage to match the fins.

from 65C down to 25C

  • Summary: I recently constructed a computer with an intel i5 Lynnfield quad core CPU. Constructing the machine, I noticed that intel had not changed the design of the stock cpu cooler since the Pentium 4. I figured it would do anyway and finished constructing the machine. I set the alarm in the BIOS to go off when the computer reached 60C. It was a nightmare. Running intense graphical programs and statistical software heated the cpu to intolerable levels.

Frosty!

k0alaFRESH, Amazon
9 July 2012
  • Summary: This has been a great cooler. It keeps my temps nice and low and the stock fans arent too loud on a medium setting. Corsair really is making some awesome components these days. Word of warning though if you have a relatively small case or cramped mobo you will want to double check the measurements to ensure it fits, it was a little bigger (wider AND taller) than what I was expecting.
