Summary: I replaced the fan in the notoriously for overheating Gateway LX6810. It cooled it, but was noisy. Finally got this Corsair, and I am very happy. Does the job, and just whispers. I used the included resistance cable to slow it to 1600rpm. Well made, but the install guide relies on you to know a good deal about building, especially if you need to r and t the motherboard, as I did. Would buy another Corsair product for sure. Just fit in my case, so measure before you buy.
